Dear Rangers “Cheer” Family:

It is time to start warming up for the Ranger “Cheer” Season. This year will be full of excitement, new cheers, tons of tumbling, team building, competition & fun!!! We welcome new cheerleaders to our family, as we look forward to our returning cheerleaders as they are our superstars from last year. The Parkland Rangers cheer program is open to all ages, 5 to 15 years old for the 2016 season comprised of up to 6 cheer squads.

The Parkland Rangers Youth Cheer program is dedicated to providing a positive and enriching environment for both the children and the parents.  We will continue to teach the needed skills to prepare our girls for high school competitive cheer programs. The 2016 season will focus on technical skills, jumps, creative moves and cheers, dance, and coaching from our local National Championship gym, Cheer Factory All-stars. This program will remain consistent and strong, pulling together hard work and fun into one!

The Parkland Rangers are members of the Prestigious Pop Warner Cheerleading Program. Cheerleading was officially recognized in the 1970's, but has been a part of the Pop Warner program for several decades. Today, 160,000 children are participating in cheerleading and dance around the United States.

The Parkland Rangers are very proud to be a part of the Pop Warner Cheerleading Programs. Participation in the Parkland Rangers Cheerleading Program provides kids an opportunity to perform in an organized, supervised, safety-oriented environment. Our Cheerleading programs emphasize fun for all and encourage the development of qualities important long after Pop Warner days are gone.

Practices will be held at Pine Trails Park in Parkland beginning August 1st.  This is a new location for us starting with the 2015 Season and we are very excited about our new facilities. Games will be on Saturdays. Home games will also be played at Pine Trails Park. We will compete in the Gold Coast Conference located in Broward and South Palm Beach counties. The season starts with a 2-3 week conditioning beginning August 1st and runs as late as December depending on competition success.  We have experienced coaches for every team, who will be instrumental to our cheerleaders, sharing their experience and skill set.

I would like to reach out to any and all parent/family members interested in coaching, which would include facilitating practices and fun for the age group. This year will be full of spirit sticks, pom-poms, mega phones, and much more!!! Be a part of a prestigious Competitive Cheer Program.
