CDOHA PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

In accordance with the constitution article 4.1, a player must be 40+ to participate in the CDOHA. In the past we have allowed goaltenders who are under age to play for teams in an emergency short notice situation. This "gentleman’s” flexibility has been manipulated and abused over the past couple of years.
We have a number of “of age” goaltenders on the spare list that are not being utilized.
It is a teams responsibility to have goaltenders in place...not the league’s.
If a team needs to use an ineligible goal tender, they must first obtain approval from one of the league’s executives.
Any team using an underage or ineligible player of any kind is subject to a $250.00 forfeit.
This is in effect immediately.

Thanks,
Randall
