DEDICATED TO SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL AS A HIGH SCHOOL SPORT
West Allegheny Indians Slow Pitch softball for Varsity, JV and Jr High teams is a member of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Softball League (WPISL). Anyone that attends West Allegheny school districts is qualified to tryout including players from Oakdale, North Fayette, Findlay, McDonald, etc. as long as they attend West Allegheny school district. The games are played in the fall against mostly quad A level teams (15 school districts) from around the area including North Hills, North Allegheny, Bethel Park, Shaler, Fort Cherry, Montour, etc. on Saturday's and Sunday's and played as double headers. West Allegheny won the Varsity championship in their 1st year in 2009. West Allegheny Jr High took 1st place in the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
