On Sunday, September 14th, 2014 the Lookouts Baseball Club participated in the Home Run for Chelsea tournament. The 12U Lookouts, managed by Kris Cho, and the 13U Lookouts Red, managed by Jaime Mautz, competed at Sportsplex USA Poway in Poway, Ca.
At 8 am, the ballplayers, coaches and families welcomed Brent and Kelly King. The King family came to thank the ballplayers, their families and the volunteers that were involved in the tournament.
The Chelsea's Light Foundation was established in honor of Poway teen Chelsea King and aims to provide legislative and education measures to protect children from sexual predators.
The Lookouts Foundation thanks our ballplayers and families for their unbelievable contributions to ensure the Home Run for Chelsea tournament was a success! Lookouts Coach Fred Zarcilla serves on the HRC Committee and helped plan and organize the event.

HOME RUN FOR CHELSEA
May 19, 2013 – 08:00 PM
On Sunday, May 19th, the Lookouts Foundation acted as a host site for the Home Run for Chelsea tournament. The 11U Lookouts Black, the 13U Lookouts Red and the 13U Lookouts White competed at WHS during this event.
At 11 am at WHS, the ballplayers, coaches and families welcomed Brent and Kelly King. The King family came to thank the ballplayers, their families and the volunteers that were involved in the tournament. During this "Time Out for Chelsea," everyone on site gathered on the JV baseball field as the King's shared a heartfelt message with the ballplayers and a moment of silence was taken for Chelsea.
The Lookouts Foundation contributed nearly $4,000 to the Chelsea's Light Foundation as a result of snack bar sales, merchandise sales and registration fees. Our site proudly raised the most money of all the host sites. The Chelsea's Light Foundation was established in honor of Poway teen Chelsea King and aims to provide legislative and education measures to protect children from sexual predators.

HOME RUN FOR CHELSEA

On Sunday, May 20th, the Lookouts Foundation hosted 14 teams at WHS that participated in the Home Run for Chelsea tournament. The 11U Lookouts Red, the 12U Lookouts Black and the 13U Lookouts Red competed at WHS and Kit Carson Park during this event.
At 11 am at WHS, the ballplayers, coaches and families welcomed Brent and Kelly King. The King family came to thank the ballplayers, their families and the volunteers that were involved in the tournament. During this "Time Out for Chelsea," everyone on site gathered on the JV baseball field as Laurel Zarcilla, daughter of Lookouts Coach Fred Zarcilla, sang God Bless America, the King's shared a heartfelt message with the ballplayers and a moment of silence was taken for Chelsea.
The Lookouts Foundation contributed nearly $4,300 to the Chelsea's Light Foundation as a result of snack bar sales, merchandise sales and registration fees. Our site proudly raised the most money of all the host sites. In total, nearly $55,000 was raised for the Chelsea's Light Foundation. HOME RUN FOR CHELSEA

On Sunday, May 22nd, the Lookouts Foundation hosted 13 teams at WHS that participated in the Home Run for Chelsea tournament. Throughout the day, the 10U Lookouts Black, the 10U Lookouts Red, the 11U Lookouts Red, the 12U Lookouts Red and the 14U Lookouts competed at WHS and Cliffridge Park in La Jolla. As the day came to a close, the 12U Lookouts Red and the 14U Lookouts graciously welcomed Brent and Kelly King to WHS. The King family came to personally thank the ballplayers, their families and the volunteers that were involved in the tournament.
The tournament, with over 100 teams playing at nine different locations, raised more than $25,000 for the Chelsea's Light Foundation. The Chelsea's Light Foundation was established in honor of Poway teen Chelsea King and aims to provide legislative and education measures to protect children from sexual predators.
