• No. 1 Dillon 49, No. 3 Frenchtown 32: The Beavers were dangerously close to relinquishing their lead, which ballooned to up to 27 points, when the Broncos battled back to match their opponents to 11 points apiece in the third period. Eventually, though, Carter Cunrow’s 17 points, Kyle Engellant’s 15 and three 3-pointers, and Cohen Hartman’s 12 points were too much to overcome, even as Frenchtown nearly evenly matched Dillon in the second half. For the Broncos, Hank Smith finished with 15 points and Henry Griffin chipped in with five.
East Helena 62, Laurel 44: The Vigilantes earned their third win of the season behind another stellar performance by DeonDray Ellis who made 12 shots from the field, including two 3-pointers to pace East Helena with 29 points in the win. Slade Olson also managed 16 points for an East Helena team that didn’t score fewer than 12 points in a quarter. Jace Reinhart was one of two Locomotives to reach double figures with 11. Griff Weisenberger added 10.
