The Capital City Intermediate Baseball League kicks off the 2026 season on Tuesday evening at Fisher Field

The expansion Fredericton Pirates take on the Orioles at 6:15 p.m. at Fisher Field.

The league has expanded to seven teams this year and will feature an 18-game unbalanced schedule.

Playoffs begin in August and the provincials host this season will come from the Miramichi Valley Baseball League. The tournament takes place from September 11th to 13th. The host team will be selected in the coming weeks.
