The Connecticut High School All Star baseball program was created 28 years ago. The program is run in an effort to help the states best high school baseball athletes with their college baseball efforts. Over the years that the program has run 98 percent of the members of the squads have gone on to play college baseball.

The fall program was run free of charge and was open to any Connecticut High School athlete. Games were played on weekends during the month of September with doubleheaders being played against junior college squads in the New England area.  The September games ran for 24 years, and will not be continued in the 2017 season.

In addition to the fall program is our yearly showcase work out which we run prior to the month of September. The showcase has been run for the past 22 years, and involves 64 select athletes. The past year the showcase drew 50 college coaches, and every graduating senior who attended the work out is now playing college baseball at some level. This showcase work out is also run almost free of charge to all the athletes.

Starting in 2010 a third event was added to the program, which now runs a showcase work out for pitchers and catchers the first week of November.  The work out drew over 20 college coaches each of the first two years, and will now be a yearly event.

An indoor showcase was run in March of 2016 for the elete high school baseball athletes in Connecticut, who worked out for the college and professional scouts.  This was the first time it was done, and it brought in 30 scouts to evaluate the players.  The March work out was run just before the colleges went down south to start their spring season, and was a huge event.  It will now be a yearly workout, and players who think they have the ability to take part can e-mail their contact information to this site to be considered.

If you would like to be evaluated to take part on either the showcase work outs, or fall all star team you should have your high school or summer coach submit your name and contact information. During the spring or summer season one of our scouts will watch the player on the field to evaluate his ability.

Any players wishing to be evaluated should have their spring or summer coach send in a recommendation and contact information e-mail to: dipersio@aol.com
