Dear Eastern Regional High School Families,

We are reaching out to Eastern families to support Project Graduation. Project Graduation is a non-profit organization, run by parents, with the single goal of hosting a supervised, alcohol and drug free, party so that our Eastern graduates can safely enjoy one final outing together on the evening after their graduation.  This year, the party will be held at The Kroc Center Camden, NJ.   Transportation, entertainment, and food will be provided. The cost of this event is estimated to be $40,000. 

We raise funds for this event through our membership dues of $15.00 per family, the Holiday Craft Show (December 1, 2018) and sponsorships from generous local businesses, EEF and BGV Municipal Alliance. We have 1300-1500 families at Eastern. If every Eastern family joined Project Graduation, at least $20,000 could be raised every year. That would meet 50% of the costs of the event. Since deposits are due a year before graduation we are currently raising money not just for the seniors’ graduation event but also for the juniors’ event next year. Should we raise enough money to cover Project Graduation for the Classes of 2019 and 2020 this year,  then any extra money would  remain in the bank account to fund future post graduation events (Classes of 2021, 2022 etc.).

 Please join Project Graduation this year, and every year that your family has a child at Eastern. The money you donate benefits every future graduate- not only seniors.
