SAINTS HIBERNATE CUBBIES
(Wyatt S. whiffed 9 Cubbies!)
ELROSA--The Elrosa Saints continued their winning ways Sunday afternoon dominating Greenwald 10-0 in 8 innings. Wyatt S. was sharp on the mound as the young righty struck out 9 batters while scattering 4 hits to earn the victory. Luke Dingmann finished the remaining 2 innings with scoreless relief work. Dingmann led the offensive outburst for the Saints with a two run single. The team was dressed in their new water downed blue jerseys and took advantage of 6 walks and 4 errors as they kept the offensive pressure on the Cubs all game. Luke Illies hammered out 2 singles to lead the young guns at the plate. Hayden Sobiech collected an RBI and a run scored in his rookie debut while Peyton Winter notched 2 RBIs to go along with a single. Jackson Peter, Kevin Kuefler, and Blaine Fischer all tallied a single and a stolen base. The Saints will now get ready for Spring Hill as the Chargers come to down on Sunday for a Mother's Day keg race starting at 1:30 p.m.

ELROSA OPENS THE SEASON WITH 2 WINS
(Will Van Beck shuts down Lake Henry!)
The Elrosa Saints lifted the lid on their 2025 campaign with 2 victories this weekend over Starbuck and Lake Henry. Saturday, the Saints entertained the Stars at Saints Field and the Saints walked away with an impressive 3-0 victory. Torii Johnson picked up the win on the mound as the bartender of the year candidate struck out 5 hitters during a 4 inning performance. Luke Dingmann and Jackson Peter each drove in runs with extra base hits to pace the offense. Luke Illies continued his hot spring with two base knocks and two stolen bases. Nuke Wiener picked up where he left off with an RBI single to aid the scoring attack. Dingmann also managed to throw 4 innings and picked up the win on the mound.
Sunday, the Blueberry Bunch brought their traveling circus to Lake Henry where they blanked the Lakers 3-0. Will Van Beck started on the hill and struck out 8 hitters over 5 innings of work. Ethan Vogt threw three innings of scoreless ball while Wyatt S. kept the Lakers scoreless in his lone inning on the bump. Gavin Kampsen and Derek Wiener each smacked 2 singles to guide the hitters. Blaine Fischer picked up the other Saints hit who managed to strike out 9 times while earning four walks. The Saints return to Elrosa next Sunday for an SCL North matchup vs. Greenwald with first pitch slated for 1:30 p.m.
