Dear ERBL Families,
We look forward to kicking off the season on December 21st for all players in grades 2-8!
The December game schedules have been posted to the ERBL Website at; https://www.leaguelineup. com/welcome.asp?url=erbl.
As game schedules for the remainder of the season are confirmed, they will also be posted on this website and updated should we have a weather event which delays, postpones, or cancels an event or school activities that may alter our gym permits.
Coaches will be communicating week to week with families about practice times and locations as they are also subject to change week to week due to weather and school events. Please have mutual respect and keep in touch with your coach should your player get sick, need a ride, or need to miss a practice or game for any reason. They need to plan ahead for game rosters and drills to work on with players at practice.
Please pay close attention to time and location as this may change weekly for some age groups.
Additionally, if your team is scheduled for Fisher 2 (back gym closest to the door #11) please note that space is limited and it will be first come first serve for seating and once at capacity we'll have to turn spectators away. (It's suggested no more than 2 spectators per player for these games only).
We will be hosting 9 games every Saturday back to back at Fisher for the boys league and ask that players arrive prepared and on time to keep the games on schedule. As soon as your game is finished you will be asked to leave the gym immediately. Coaches may opt to have coaches meetings in the hallway just before and just after games but will not be permitted to remain with their team in the gym to allow for the next game's crowd to find seating quickly for the next game rather than congesting the doorway areas.
All players should come to games with a DRY pair of sneakers that they can put on once inside of the school. We respectfully ask all spectators to be very mindful when entering schools to dry your feet thoroughly and not walk on the gym floor before or after games to keep games on time and the floor as dry as possible to prevent slipping hazards.
All players should wear black basketball/athletic shorts (when possible) for games. Team shirts will be given out at the first game if not sooner.
Players should have a labeled water bottle with them for every practice and game to prevent them from running in and out of the gym.
Spectators should use door #11 for games at both Fisher and Antheil to enter. Doors will be locked at Fisher at all times, so you will need to be let in by a representative. Please have patience and grace with those volunteering to help with the league as they may be spread out and running from gym to gym.
If your player has not paid their full registration, please take care of it by Tuesday, December 10th via the Ewing Recreation Office. Players not paid in full may not participate in games or practices. We have an extensive waiting list of players for each division, so if you are unable to commit to the season, please let us know so that an anxious player who is waiting for a spot can come off of the waiting list.
Children may not be left unattended during games that aren't for their team. They must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Please remember this is a youth recreational league and no scholarships will be handed out during games, so sit back, enjoy the games and watch the player development while cheering all of the players on! It's all about the kids!
See you on the court!

Dear ERBL Instructional Boys Families,
We are looking forward to your player's participation in the ERBL 2025 Winter Instructional Boys Division for students in Kindergarten and 1st grade. We are excited to announce Coach Ebony Johnson, Head Coach of the Bucks County Community College Women's Basketball Team, as the coordinator of the boys instructional division for her 4th season with ERBL.
Our first session will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 6:15-7:30pm at the Fisher Middle School Main Gym. The program will run on Thursday evenings through the beginning of March (weather and school event pending).
There will be a parent meeting on January 2nd at 6:35pm in the Fisher Cafeteria once the players are checked in and get started.
We ask that your player come dressed in athletic attire, bring dry sneakers, and a bottle of water labeled with their name on it. Players will be provided with an ERBL T-shirt which they should plan to wear each week. A basketball is not required for these sessions.
We have close to 50 boys participating in this program so we ask that if there are any parents interested in volunteering, to please reach out to myself, Director Ernie Doggett, or Coach Ebony Johnson as quickly as possible so that we can get you situated with the required background check.
Lastly, we know things come up and that it's the season for colds, should your player be unable to attend for any reason, please be sure to let us know so that Coach Ebony can plan her stations accordingly.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the court next month!

PS.. If you have an outstanding balance, please be sure to take care of that via CommunityPass or contacting the Ewing Recreation Office at Hollowbrook to make a payment.
