| here is a though drivers and pit crewswhy not have one night time race or evening race and make sure it is on a long weekend and this is only a though on it guys one race in the evening it might be good to do this,the poles are in the pits and Bern is puttin speakers down there so why not put a few lights up around the track , say one race a year.?

| why not the Canada day race it would be the long weekend and it would be good just to try it out and c how it works out if it do it do and if not then at least we tried it for that one race

| Avondale has got to be the one of the only speedways left in North America that isn't able to have night racing!

| Yes there are polls being put up down in the pit area for speakers purposes only for now.There might be lights installed at a later date.There are polls for a couple of large signs at the entrance of the speedway.One try at night time raceing might be considered at a later date also.Rigth now we are looking to make it more comfortable for everone,including the crew at the track.

| always been a fan of night racing but never had the chance to experience one. I think its a great idea and i would love to see it happen!

| when i was a kid can remember attending night races i think at spencersspeedbowl in the goulds was pretty interesting sparks flying from the cars when wheels came off was cool i think the young fans would enjoy that

| You'd be really surprised at how different races look at night under the lights compared to daytime! I think it makes the cars look like they're going faster, too!

| Heard they had the lights, wire and it was to be done last year but the wire was stolen from the track. Bern said at a drivers meeting if anyone knew of any wire to let him know?

| All the polls are installed on the front straitaway and there will be more put in the ground over the next summer.It dosen't take long to do the work if all the gear would stay on site.I myself will be putting %100 of my time into the track this summer.Bern does alot of work in 6 days to make everthing run on Sundays.When you see him on Sunday running the track,beleive it or not thats his day off.Gloria is down on the other end with her hands full getting people signed in and running around all over the place.Like I said before it takes alot to be done before the checkered is dropped.Thanks!
