I just realized something! It seems that lately the only person on here I can have a conversation with is Reider! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy talking hockey and stuff with him, but I don't think I'm wanted all that much on here by most people! So, I think it's time to make like a banana and split! I know I've said this many times before, and you're probably all thinking that I'll be back, but I've always thought to myself that I'll know when it's time to leave for good! It's time! I know when I'm not wanted! I just want everyone to know that I have no hard feelings! You can think what you want about whether this is for good or not, but let me assure you it is! The way I look at it, I've had alot of fun recently joking around and talking to Reider about stuff, I figure this is a good way to leave! Don't worry, I was only joking when I said that my whole life was posting messages on here! I have alot of hobbies and interests! Besides, I wore out my welcome a long time ago(if I ever was welcome)! In case anybody was wondering why I picked "Chosen 1" as a nickname for on here, I'll tell you. Anybody familiar with WCW wrestling in the late 90's-early 2000's? There was a wrestler there at the time named Jeff Jarrett. In the storylines, he referred to himself as the "Chosen one"! I thought that would be a cool name to use on here(I simply changed "one" to a "1")! Reider, it's been a blast! Everybody else, it's been fun, as well, even when people haven't been nice to me, it's still been alot of fun! I've said it before and I'll say it again! I wouldn't trade the time I spent on here for anything! Goodnight, Avondale!

You're lucky chosen 1 isn't on here still, because he would really put you in your place. Either team would be hard pressed to even win a game against buffalo, and if the islanders win today then last nights win by the '67 gang won't be worth an ounce of dog shit.

So what? I'm sure the makemelaughs and their delusional fans would take a cup win any way they can get it. Whats it been, a hundred years? I don't care when they happened or how they happened, 24 cups is 24 cups. Nobody else is even close. Explain your way around that.

Actually, there's no video evidence that Toronto ever won a cup, because there was no tv or anything back then. The only way to know for sure is to hear from somebody who was there and witnessed it first hand, that is if there is anybody still alive. The center of the hockey universe? Do their fans actually say that with a straight face?

I like one of the comments chosen 1 made a while back. He said that he cheers for 2 teams, the Habs and whoever plays the Leafs. I go even farther then that, because I absolutely dispise that hockey team. I hope they don't win another cup ever. When Dubie made that save to win the shootout, I must've jumped 10 feet in the air. To me, that was the sweetest moment of the 2006-07 season. They should never have won on Saturday. The referees might as well have worn blue jerseys, but then again its always that way when teams play the makemelaughs. You have to call everything on the opposition or else they'll whine and cry like a teenager that's been grounded. But of course, they can do whatever and everything is fine and dandy, but just touch those morons and they act like you commited murder.

gretzkys high stick on gilmour.habs didnt do to bad on the penalty calls either saturday night they had some 5 on 3s of their own.it should have been over in the first ten minutes of the game if you ask me.if u check the standings i beleaf habs 10th leafs 9th.the habs had the 2nd best record in the eastern conference around december they choked.leafs led the nhl with most man games lost. would have been in playoff spot comfortably.

I wasn't serious when I was complaining about the officiating in Saturday night's game, I was just doing my Leaf's fan imitation, because they're always whining and bitching about everything every time things don't go their way. The Habs have won 9, count 'em, 9 cups since the Leafs last won theirs. Sure, the makebeliefs may have defeated the Habs in '67 for the cup, but the Habs swept them in '78 and '79 on the way to cup wins each season. Wow, the makemelaughs finished one point ahead of the habs this season. Let's have a parade for them. The Habs finished alot farther ahead of them last year. Who are they playing in the playoffs, the same as the Habs. Tiger Woods, maybe? As far as injuries, so the Leafs had a few injuries this year. Big shittin' deal. Not too many years ago, the Habs had more injuries than any team in the history of hockey, and the delusional Leaf fans laughed and said that was no excuse. When the Leafs have won 24 cups, come and talk to me. Until then, don't even bothering posting anything.

the players all know each other now from junior right to the nhl.not as intense as years gone by.was watching the herder memorial trophy game on cable 9 thats a local community channel saw bits and peices of nhl games.i was surfing the channels between priods.nords habs was intense remember that one where they brawled twice in one game even the hunter brothers went at it.louis sleigher ended jean hamels career with a sucker punch and they use to be team mates at one time.can u remember dale hunter scoring on steve penney in overtime to eliminate habs.was having fun at work teasing one of my fellow workers.i was reading the paper doing the play by play of the goal he smacked me one right on the button ihad the paperup in front of my face didnt see it coming it was a nice jolt.didnt tease him much after that.he is still a die hard habs fan.when they win u still see him going around with his blue blanc and rouge on but when they lose u cant fin hide nor hear of him.

Yeah, alot of people take it REAL serious! I think fans of all the teams are like that. I mentioned before that when their team loses, they do tend to be quiet, but I think that's the same for all fans! I know some Leaf fans that are like that! I know some Sens fans that are like that! The guy actually punched you because you bugged him about a series 25 years ago! Especially since the Habs took out the Nords 3 of the next 4 series! That was good hockey back then! I was in Red Deer, Alta. in '86 when the Oilers played the Flames. Red Deer is situated almost exactly between the two cities! Talk about intense! The battle of Ontario heated up, people say, after Alfredsson's controversial hit on Tucker in 2002. Hell, when Montreal and Quebec or Calgary and Edmonton played back then, there was a half dozen of those a game! In exhibition!

the last time the leafs won the cup was in 1967, it was also the last time tim horton played with the team .1993 was the closes time in 30 + to get that close to the standly cup and playin the frogs for the cup but no la kings payed off the refs and there were cheap shoths that were over looked in the game . I can't believe that Leaf fans still whine and cry about that high stick on Gilmour! It was 14 freakin' years ago! Get over it! Last season, Koivu nearly lost his eye due to an errant high stick by Justin Williams in the playoffs, and you didn't hear the Habs fans go on and on about it! Also no penalty on the play! I can only imagine what the Toronto fans would been like if that would've happened to Sundin! They would've wanted Williams arrested!

If that's the case, just imagine what it would've been like in Toronto and the high stick was on Sundin! I don't think it was on purpose, as Williams has never been that type of player, but he is awful sneaky looking! I really feel, as well, that that was the turning point in the series! I too feel that the Habs would've won if that didn't happen or the high stick was called a double minor. Montreal would've played Ottawa next round, and as everybody knows no Bryan Murray-coached team has never made it to the semi-finals! Montreal probably would've beat Buffalo, considering the amount of injuries the Sabres had. I don't know if the Habs would've beat Edmonton, but it is very possible that one play may have prevented the Habs from playing for the cup, and possibly winning it! I'm not whining or bitter about what happened, as hockey is a fast-paced game and calls are missed! I'm just giving my honest opinion as to what I think might've happened! Toronto fans sure give their opinion about what they thought would've happened if they called the high stick by Gretzky on Gilmour, so why can't I give my take on last's year's events! Reider, don't act like Habs fans are the only ones who complain, cause there are Toronto fans that I know still whining about that high stick to me to this day, 14 long years later!
