| I don't feel the need to post anything else, so I'll leave you with this one last message. The following is a list of teams that have won a cup or cups since the Leafs last won theirs. Montreal(10), Edmonton(5), New York Islanders(4), Detroit(3), New Jersey(3), Boston(2), Philadelphia(2), Pittsburgh(2), Colorado(2), New York Rangers, Dallas, Calgary, Tampa Bay, Carolina. You can add a new team this year, or somebody's number will go up by one. The following is a list of teams who have never won the cup, but have at least played for it, since 1967. Chicago(3), Buffalo(2), Vancouver(2), Florida, Minnesota North Stars(2), Los Angeles, Anaheim, St. Louis(3). To the idiot who said that most of the Habs cups came before 1900, Im going to tell you what chosen 1 told somebody one time, and that is think before you type. Montreal has won 10 cups, almost half of them, since Toronto last won theirs. I know I said before that it was nine, but I was wrong, I missed one. When you've won that many, it's hard to keep track of them all.

| who looked all that info up for u.thats why people dont like the habs not because of the team.but ass holes like u who get on with the arrogance of where the best syndrome.habs are know better than columbus or phoenix or the leafs for that matter they are on vacation when it matters most playoff time.might be 40 years before habs win another cup with any luck.talk to u latter pal.

| It looked to me like "Habs fan" was responding to people running down his team, that's all. People who said that most of their cups were before 1900, stuff like that. He wasn't being arrogant, I don't think, but only stating facts. There's nothing there that says that he thinks they're the best team in the league right now. You want to talk about arrogance? Referring to yourself as the "center of the hockey universe". That's why people hate Toronto, but you don't mention a word about that. At least Montreal fans can back up what they say about cup wins in the last 40 years. What has Toronto done? They haven't even played for a cup in the last 40 years. I don't see anything where he says that the Canadiens are better than any team, but was only stating facts and defending his team, not with whinning and complaining, but with facts.

| a lot of facts or a artifacts.things have changed since 67.was only 6 teams with 4 making playoffs now 30.habs had rights to all players born in pq.players distibuted more evenly now.the drafting of players more european players lots of factors why habs and leafs not the teams they were back in the day.also for along while the canadian dollar value was way down just to mention a few things.we could agree or disagree on this for hours.this is my last words about this subject.take it back up in october.

| You're right, as Chosen one said before, it's only a game. As we argue back and forth, the majority of these players are laughing all the way to the bank. Not all of them, but alot of them.

| league minuim is 450,000 a year, not to bad a pay cheque once a month.
