| Why do you hate the Habs? Is it because they have all those cups and your team doesn't? Jealousy will get you nowhere! Is that a real hockey league or just a beer league?

| it is a provincial senior hockey championship best of 7 series. senior hockey leagues on the island one on the west coast(WCSHL)one on the east coast the avalon east league.they are paid a small amount for playing .former nhl player terry ryan plays for mt.pearl plenty of former minor pros and major junior players even one from russia.we take it very serious .each league champ plays for the herder memorial trophy in the final its a pretty big honor to win.few years back when we had a provincial league the winner would represent the provice to play for the allan cupagainst mainland senior teams now that was very intense hockey but good to watch.usually draws big crowds out to the games around 6000 fans in st johns 4000fans in corner brook .the west coast teams dnt like the east coast teams sometimes it can get nasty.but is great entertainment.

| i can remember them mainland players coming down to play.play a game or two leave shortly after frightened to death .would not even wait to get paid.

| one team from thunder bay.was playing caps for the right to represent eastern canada in the allan cup.brawl started they left the ice and would not complete the game caps won by forefit.ontario team did win the series 4-1.was good hockey very physical.ex nhl plyers in the thunder bay twins lineup.after that all eastern finals were played in ontario.last time caps represented atlantic region they played a team called flamboro motts clamatos.they had don edwards in net stan johnathon lots of ex nhl players was a good series very physical.the clamotos won in 6 i think.

| who would not be affraid of langer fought some of the toughest in hockey as nhl enforcer.you would have to have less than 2 brain cells to take him on.saw some dandy fights between langer and ryan vandenbussche when they both played in the ahl.

| great regular season stats.cant seem to get it together in the playoffs though.i hope it keeps up to i picked nucks in seven in my pool.im in trouble i have giguere as my goalie in my pool.
