| The guy that did "This week in baseball" for a number of years was the late Mell Allen! Harry did the Cubs games right up until he passed away in 1998! I've never been and am still not a Cubs fan, but Harry made the games worth tuning in to! I just found that in the last few years, he had gotten quite senile and probably should've stepped down! His son Skip was the Atlanta Braves announcer for years, but Harry's grandson Chip is their play-by-play man now! Chip also did the Cubs games for a few years! The Cubs current announcers are Len Casper and Bob Brenly!

| It's a tough one to call! The Rockies are on such a roll, having gone undefeated to now, but their bats may have gone cold with the lay-off, you never know! You can never count the Red Sox out! If Boston hadn't won back in 2004, I would probably rather see them win, you know, break the curse and stuff! But I would rather see the Rockies win! Boston also has a Canadian, but the only time we'll probably see Gagne is in a blowout either way!

| eric gagne certainly fell out of the picture after those few good years he had with the dodgers i believe it was.do the sox even have him on the roster for the world series.13-1 sox not much of a game you ask me.guess the rockies have cooled off.they better not wait to long to heat up or it will be over in a hurry.them sox can hit.

| Yes they certainly can and do, especially at Fenway! That's where the problem lies for the Rockies; they can go home and play off the emotion of their fans and win all 3 by 50 runs, but that won't mean a thing if they can't win one on the road! Sox are extremely tough at Fenway! Apparently Gagne is on the roster, because it was on I believe SportsNet where I heard that the only time we'll probably see him is in a blowout! I didn't see much of the game last night(didn't miss much!), because I did ythe goal judging for our B team! They rebounded nicely with a 6-4 win!

| After losing again last night, the Rockies absolutely have to win all 3 at home to have a chance! Even if they win 2 of 3, their chances of winning would not be good! I'm sure the BoSox would pull out either 6 or 7 at home!

| they have to win 4 out of the next 5 games.thats not going to be easy even though they won 21 of 22 before they lost the first to of this series.dont think they can beat beckett and schilling back to back they are as strong as a #1 and #2 starters as you can find.
