Go Canada Go! Bring it home for the fourth year in a row! Even if they don't, it will still be 10 years in a row with a medal! The boys weren't given much of a chance this year, but never bet against Team Canada! Never!

your right they had a few nay sayers who have been questioning them all week.the swedes look to be pretty good though.i think they can be had. a few breakdowns against the swedes in the round robin game cost us but they will be ready for this one to makeup for the round robin loss.they might have been a little over confident going into the game against the swedes but not today they will be focused and have there hard hats on ready to go to work and finish the job.there are some kids in this tournament on all teams that are very talented.

It should be a dandy! If you get RDS, the Habs-Caps game is on now. 1-0 Habs after one! Caps not too high in the standings, but did beat the Sens twice recently! The Sabres could've really done the Habs a favor last night, but Miller had a very rare off-night!

I haven't heard anything about the Habs aquiring about the Great 8, but it would be nice to have him in their lineup, and I'm sure there are 28 other teams that feel the same way! The thing is the Habs as well as any team would have to give up an awful lot, off the roster and in the future! The Habs are playing okay now, but they were last year too! The thing is, it's so close that a team can go from being well in a playoff spot to being out or vice versa in very short order! Price didn't play that well today, but I can remember Patrick Roy having games actually worse than that in his rookie year! They still picked up a very valuable point, but people shouldn't be fooled by the Cap's place in the standings, I've seen them play 3 times in the last week and they didn't look bad at all! Oveckin is absolutely amazing! Like I said a while back, don't worry about the Sabres, they're too good a team and I think they'll make the playoffs! I just hope it's not at the expense of the Habs! Hope you're feeling better!

I saw the highlights of yesterday's Sabres Thrashers game, it didn't look as though Buffalo played that bad but Miller let in a couple softies! You have no idea how deflating that is to a team! They're afraid to take too many chances because they're not sure if the goalie is gonna be there for them! That's happened a few times this year with the Habs when Huet or Price haven't been on their game, it disrupts the team's flow and practically changes their game plan! Miller played well in the outdoor game! That was a really good game and I'm surprised the ice was as good as it was considering the elements!

They still picked up a very valuable point! Do you think maybe it's time for a change behind the bench? Lindy Ruff has done an awesome job over the years as their coach, but sometimes even the best can go stale and a change can refresh the whole team! I don't know if that's the case here, because like I said, Ruff has been a tremendous coach for a long time! Just a thought!

yeah that may help. what do you do fire ruff or promote him.who takes over? its midseason dont know if its a goodtime to change coaches now unless you are bringing in one with experience.i think the lost of the leadership from drury brier and nummien has hurt.dont think they have anyone ready to lead the team in a leadership role with the loss of the experience those 3 have.

Good point! They could move Ruff to the position of GM! If you're gonna make a change mid-season, I think it's better to bring in a guy with coaching experience, or at least move up one of the team's good assistant coaches! Like I said, firing or promoting Ruff may not even be a good idea, I was just printing what I was thinking! Printing out loud, I guess! You're right, the Sabres did lose alot of leadership, especially Drury!
