| As a fan, I'd say forget it. They get about 10 or 11 cars ....in total. Avondale at its worst gets much more than that. And its pavement.

| No more money to run, you just can't go out there with junk. You need brakes, good suspension, and a solid car. So guys who drive $100 cars will find it expensive, because their cars will require alot of parts and work to be competitive.

| i think that if some of your cars came out to the paved track it would make for an interesting race. pavement is not as bad as what you all think it is. both tracks have there advantages, but in the end its still racing right. i love the thrills with dirt racing, but also enjoy racing on the asphalt.

| the paved track is far from boring, and unless you have been there to see it, please dont say that it is. its a lot better that the dirttrack in bishopfalls, but not as exciting as the avondale track is :)

| Why would anybody leave a paved speedway to bring there set up race car to a ragged dirt track that has no rules, this paved racing is second to none!! Everything is on time, rules are inforced, everything is on a equal playing field.Sure, there are not as many big crash ups or roll overs, but the paved action in central is great and only going to get bigger and better. Not intending to rain on anbodys parade either...

| How do you figure it is wasted? Track is growing, new sportsman to make first appearance this weekend, possibly another one on route from the mainland. More 4 cyclinders been built. Possible street stocks soon. Motocross starting on the 26th, and the track looks excellent.
The intention of this post was not to create controversy. Believe it or not there are guys on the avalon who are interested in racing on pavement, they can come and watch on the 26th and not interfer with their racing on Sunday.

| I agree that everything probably is on time, the rules are enforced and it is an even playing field. It's really easy to do all this because there are no cars to get in the way.

| if your racing for payouts, than your in it for all the wrong reason. its a hobbie for most of us, and the joy of being able to race your car on dirt or pavement should be enough. i agree, there should be payouts, but if thats the only reason your there, maybe you shouldnt be! | Putt around? Most pavement racing is follow the leader. Nascar may be exiting, but F1 and IRL are as boring as hell. The reason Nascar runs on pavement is because they couldn't handle all that speed on clay. Pavement is for driving. Dirt is for racing.

| i was watching a race on speed channel the other day ran on a dirt track with the sprint cup drivers think tony stewart won.he even owned the speedway the race was being run at.alot of nascar drivers got there start on dirt and they still race dirt when they can.why tow a car right out to central cost to much money only people with money who probably own there own companies can afford that.seems to me the 27 is dominating anyway do they have a share in the track.just curious.if so how can you compete and enjoy yourself as a hobby driver like that.

| 27 aint dominating anymore, the other cars have stepped it up. In my opinion there seems to be a car that has an advantage over the rest, and it's not the 27. Last week was the most competitive racing I have seen in central in years, and trust me it was good to see. It's funny how people can take a simple post and turn it into something it's not.

| just watched the nearly 6 mins.of video on the tvs site only think i see 1 pass in total.just watch the guy with the blue shirt on in the 2nd video he sure looks like he is having a great time.no video of the 4 cylinders did they run.only noticed 6 cars in the 2nd video the 17 have trouble.

| Actually, there was a crash on the last lap with the last lap(white flag) thrown. The 47 car crossed the line with the side riped out of his car, followed by the 44 and 24,61, 27,76,17. And the winnings for this coming weekend are supposed to be in the FOUR digit range!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| After reading from top to bottom... there's one thing that's for sure, you guys definitly support your own! Every post here put together makes sense and everyone who has posted is right. Dirt is good for the dirt track drivers that want to and love to race on dirt. Pavement is good for the drivers that want to and love to race on pavement. To each their own! The drivers that get into any type of race car and race on any kind of surface are to be commended for the job they do. Week after week no matter what track you're racing on your fans are there for the love of the sport and to see YOU race! They're not there for the politics of the track or the petty posts that go on the websites. I'm sure a cash payout of whatever denomination is nice to have for some, but for the ones who are in it just for the adreniline rush or their own personal love of racing the checkered flag is more than enough of a payment for them. Again to each their own! You can't knock down one or the other because it's really only either sides personal opinion, neither one is wrong. Who cares who owns and operates the track, in the end you have a track to race on, and the fans show their support for the track and the drivers by showing up to the race no matter how many cars are on the track. If the drivers had a beef with the way things were running they wouldn't continue to bring their cars to the track every week. Both have good tracks and better drivers, don't lose sight of why you're there and don't forget why the fans continue to go.

| Why would anybody leave either track, the drivers all love to race, mostly for fun, payouts are great, but I guess until the fan base is there, tvs can't payout. Although this weekend is advertised to have a big pot for all classes!!
