I never said anything about anybody's team or never said a word about the Habs until somebody brought up the subject of hockey and/or Montreal! Lucic? As in Milan Lucic? Oh yeah, I know who that is! | Don't get me wrong, Lucic is a big tough guy! But, until he drops the mitts with big Georges, he'll forever be known as a pretty good fighter, but was afraid of Georges Laraque! Believe me, that will stay with him his entire career!

| lucic is only a kid. he will fight george in time not he is just ready yet.anyway why would he do that.thats not a good trade off a 1st or 2nd line player in the box for 5 mins or more with a 4th liner at best just think about what your saying.that would be like saku fighting stortini when they play the oil.

| Saku doesn't go around acting all tough and fighting and stuff! He doesn't fight someone and when the guy injures his shoulder during the fight, then act like he just beat up a healthy Evander Holyfield! Lucic fights, but it just appears that he's afraid of Laraque! Until that doesn't appear to be the case, it is what it is! Reider, if the Habs had a player who plays exactly like Lucic, but was afraid of the tough guy on the Bruins(or any team), you and all the other Hab-haters would razz and make fun of the guy and call him a coward and shit like that til the cows come home! Then you'd get the cows to talk shit! He's not ready yet? What's he waiting for? That's a really lame excuse!

| Who cares about the trade-off? You're saying the Bruins can't survive for 5 minutes without Lucic on the ice? I agree it's not a good trade-off for the Bruins, but it's one 5-minute span in one game of an 82-game season! Stop making excuses and admitt that he's scared shitless of Laraque! If the Bruins can't survive without him on the ice for 5 minutes, they've got serious problems! They played well without Bergeron for a long stretch this year, so they should be okay without Luchickenshit for 5 minutes!

| If you're gonna play and act like Lucic does, you'd better be ready to take on ANYBODY and EVERYBODY, now! Just a kid? Sorry, but this is a man's game! If he's not ready to take on a guy like Laraque, then he shouldn't be fighting ANYBODY! It's strange, because he'll take on certain tough guys, but not others! If he fights Laraque and wins, fine! I'll be the first one to congradulate him on here! Even if he loses, he will have at least gained the respect of one of the league's top fighters! If he's afraid of Laraque, he should at least say so! I think big Georges would respect that! Until he does any of this, I'll refer to him as "Luchickenshit"!

| saku dont fight he knees guys when they are down.most guys in the league are affraid of george so they are all chicken shit are they.did u watch the game last night looked like big george was the one affraid of godard everytime godard tried to get going george backed away almost feel over his one time.if george wants to fight someone on the bruins shawn thorton is there heavy weight.

| Oh, you must be talking about Big Georges one-punching Goddard! Damn good thing for Goddard he didn't connect fully! You wanna talk! What in the hell was Peters(from your Sabres) doing the last time he fought Laraque? It looked like "the electric boogaloo" or something! Didn't help him though! If you're afraid of certain heavyweights, then you shouldn't fight any of them! That's what I'm trying to say! What really made Laraque upset was Luchicken hit Kovalev from behind, and Komisarek came to his defence! During the fight, it was very even until Komisarek injured his shoulder, and even then all Luchicken did was hit him on the arm a couple times then fell on him! Then he goes to the box showboating and garbage like that! That was a total lack of respect on Luchicken's part! Laraque is a very respectful fighter! Oh, but I forgot! The Habs aren't allowed to come to the defence of teammates! You can hit any of the Habs from behind, and that's fine! But God forbid any Hab does anything even remotely questionable, and all of a sudden they're "dirtbags" or things of that sort! Why don't you comment on Gauthier's elbow on Georges! If that situation was reversed, you'd whine and cry until the cows come home, then you'd get the cows whining!

| i did i said he should have got at least 10 games for that.i dont see nothing wrong with sticking together as a team.the habs have lots of chickenshit players on there team .latendresse lapierre begin the kotiny brothers.just to name a few.as for peters i dont think he is that tough anyway and not much of a player either.

| Every team in the history of hockey has had players do questionable plays! I know you're a Hab-hater and your view of certain players is somewhat biased, just as I'm sure my view of players on teams I don't like is the same, but I don't think that Begin, Latendresse or Lapierre are chickenshit players! As for Plekanic, that play in Edmonton was two guy battling to gain position, just that the Edmonton player was the one that went down! Sometimes the Kostityns do questionable plays, but how many Europeans DON'T from time to time?

| Why was Kostopoulos suspended 3 games for a hit when the other guy turned at the very last second that Kostopoulos had very little if any chance of holding up on? Why was Adam Mair suspended(I forget the number of games) just for yapping at another player in the hallway? Why is the sky blue? Why are clouds white? Why are beans so gassy? Why, why, why? This may shock some people, but the league doesn't always get it right when it comes to suspensions! Gee, that Gauthier must be a real "dirtbag", eh?

| And another thing. If Saku's kneedrop that you keep harping on was so bad, why wasn't HE suspended! Especially with the league supossedly cracking down on that sort of thing! From now on, I'm gonna refer to that alledged incident as "reider's Koivu phantom knee"! Or "Saku's mystery kneedrop by reider"! Or even better, "hallucinations and ramblings of a guy with two brain cells of an incident that only happened in the imaginary world of a hab-hater, and could only be possibly seen by fellow hab-haters"!

| your right.i must have being on a bad trip seeing how i just came home from a night on the town with the kotiny brothers hamrlik and there buddy mobster the night i halucinated seeing saku knee grabovski when he was down.why wasnt he suspended because it was saku of course he wouldnt do that.kosotplus got off easy so did plankace if u ask me u should never hit a guy from behind anytime as for knocking the feet from under a guy to try to beat an icing call thats plain bush league he should be still out.yeah but in montreal thats just a hockey hit or battling for position.i can see carbo saying that because that was the kind of stuff he done as a player stick around the waist or betwwen the oppoents lega he was one of the best.as for his comment it was a hockey hit if your coach has that kind of a lack of respect for your opponent the players follow his lead.leadership comes from the top its the coaches job to see his players play the game with class and pride and the habs are suppose to have a 100 years of it the greatest team of all time.what a joke.

| I agree, What a joke! You're spelling, that is! Kosotplus? Plankace? I'm not saying it was a battle for a puck only because it's the Habs, I'd say the same if the situation was reversed! As for Carbo defending his players, ANY coach is going to! I've seen Ruff defend his players on plays that were worse than the one by Pleckanic! The coach and other players ALWAYS have their teamate's back, and if they don't, then they're not much of a coach or a teamate! I can't help it, I just don't feel it was worth a suspension or even a penalty! It has nothing to do with the teams! I've seen Habs players recieve questionable hits over the years and the other player get suspended, and felt that they shouldn't have! I agree with Mike Milbury when he says we are witnessing the "pansification" of the game! I don't normally agree with much of what Don Cherry said, but I do with what he said last night about the situation with the Habs players! Wasn't Molgilny involved with the Russian mafia when he was with the Sabres years back?
