| What happened, did Nfld put a ban on posting or something? I know it's the off-season, but this is REALLY quiet for the Avondale board!

| looks like it only just the 2 of us u and i.my sbres to a good beating saturday night maybe they will fall back to earth now.watch the game saturday night they started to sing the good bye chant then the leafs scored 2 got pretty quite.it was pretty funny.

| The first thing I said when they started singing was, "whoa, it's a little too early for that"! Oh well, I guess we've all looked kinda stupid at one time or another! It would've been much worse if the Leafs would've won the game, but at least the Habs pulled it out! A win's a win! The Sabres get another crack at the Isles Wednesday in Buffalo, that should be interesting!

| Biron usually plays well against his old team, but you never know, Rollie played well against Edmonton, but yeah, I'd start Biron! Price did a pretty good Hardy Ashtrom imitation againt the Thrashers tonight, but couldn't be faulted for all the goals, as the Habs defence at times looked like the defence that played in front of Ashtrom in Colorado!

| the colorado rockies in the nhl now your going back awhile.that hardy astrom guy isnt he one of grapes favorite.cant remember much about them only they had lanny macdonald and barry beck i think.

| I was quite young back then, but I can remember back when Toronto traded Lanny to the Rockies, the fans were none too pleased! They actually protested outside Maple Leaf Gardens in the hours leading up to their next home game! I actually got too see the Colorado Rockies play the Habs at the Forum when I was really young!

| sittler got in ballards dog house i believe the story goes.so to get even with sittler he traded his good friend lanny.talking bout a nut job that harold ballard was surely one.

| Wouldn't it have made more sense to trade Sittler? But then again, that was Ballard! For all the hockey fans that are too young to remember Harold Ballard, don't complain when you're GM(of which ever team you cheer for) makes some deals that you may not totally agree with! After all, you could've had Harold for your GM! Just to show that I'm not totally biased, I also never cared for Irving Grundman when he was GM of the Habs! Not near as bad as Ballard, but not that good either!

| Actually, Ballard wasn't the GM of the Leafs at the time, but the owner! But as everyone who was familiar with the situation back then knows, any Leafs GM back then was little more than Harold's puppet!
