| heard the two women in the tower who work at avondale speedway and they said to themselves but i overheard them saying that the track has been sold can anyone tell me if this is true because they said the same thing last year

| sure hope it is, maybe they will get someone there who knows what their at and don't just pick favourites. however i don't know if it is for certain, i have heard talk that it was sold though. I SURE HOPE SO!

| aparrantly people sold it behind berns back and no one knows anything about it someone should call bern and ask him does he know anything and if it is true or not because if it is going pavement there is going to be alot o people not going to be there

| i have ben talkin to bern the track is sold it will be kept to dirt and made further down in there land perimiter they will build a pavement track

| It must be a fan who is saying pavement sucks. Some people don't realize how much time and money goes into cars and then to go out there and beat and bang and beat them yup. Us drivers are there to race and not there to beat up and tear up our cars. If your there to see crashes then stick to derby's to watch. I got sick and tired of coming home every Sunday with a beat up car do to stupid shit happening on the track or a track that is usually to rough to run. Then you go race on pavement and there is nice clean racing and it is a lot more competitive. You need a good car to win on pavement not like some at avondale. People can say pavement sucks but i race both and i have to say pavement is way better. And i cant wait till the day avondale is paved. I think you'll see some fans changing there mind and will become interested in pavement. Ask Bern do he like pavement he is out there watching all the time?

| I am 15 and i dont really care what happens ill race on dirt or pavement im not goin pussyin out because someone hits me its all apart of racin i loves racing on dirt tho its a bit more fun and you gotta be able to drive better but its no good for sooks

| If Bern ever did sell the track, I can guarentee the new owner will not be as awesome as the great Bern Hickey. I bet the person won't be as fair or impartial as Bern, either. Bern is the greatest.

| if they pave it and use the same rules they use at tvs then morgan in the 53 wont be able to race.thought i read in there rules on there web site you have to have your licence to drive but iam not 100% sure on that.i would like to see both a paved and dirt track with some lights so we could have some night racing.thought the derby on sunday was very good great job by all.cant wait for next race season.nice prize for winning the points race a week in febuary at daytona beach who wouldnt enjoy that maybe even go to see the daytona 500 sweet.

| Hopefully it is sold and the new owners will clean it up. The stands are about to fall down and the washrooms are disgusting. The last time I posted something negative, someone at this website completely changed my words around. Wonder if it'll happen again this time??? Pretty low down if you ask me.

| The washrooms are fine by me. Any outdoor event I ever went to in NL they they have outhouses or port a potties. Avondale has running water, soap and paper towels. Maybe non fan likes the outhouses or port a potties?

| there was a bunch of guys down to the mardi gras saturday night dressed as the chillie miners.they were even waving the flag of chillie.when they were announcing the best costumes aeards they were booed off the stage.i guess people thought it was distasteful.i thought it was very funny.

| I'm sure the miners wouldn't mind. After all, they're going to make alot of money and fame by telling everyone about their ordeal. Books, TV, movies maybe. Needless to say, they'll never have to go underground again. Can't blame them though, I'd do the same thing.
