It's kind of hard to say because we have new teams entering the league and we don't know who plays for who anymore. Maybe you should ask this same ? halfway thru the season. I don't know alot of ppl by name, I know them by face so that's why it's hard for me. Since I also play FS, I can tell you who I wouldn't want to face week in and week out is those damn Schmidt boys Ivan and his brother Mike. Them 2 dudes can ball! Young Gunz have 2 lil fast fucks that are great route runners and have really good hands. I give Dwight from the Ravens props too just cuz he goes and gets every pass thrown to him. Believe it or not, don't sleep on Ro Lee from the Outlawz this season either. I would put Rocket in the discussion but he plays various positions which makes him LETHAL! Much respect to anybody that I left off the list!

OK OK here we go fellas my top recievers in the league not in any order:

1. Ivan Schmidt - kid runs good routes has great hands and is a dangerous threat to any defense

2. Dwight - tall, can go get it at the highest point, and has decent speed

3. Mike (vikings) - the "other" vikings reciever just as dangerous as his brother

4. Rob - good hands, very good route runner, decent speed, the only knock on him not a very physical player but nevertheless still a top reciever, very dangerous when his head is in the game and not on the sidelines

5. Pito YG - extremely shifty, good speed, good hands, very dangerous in the open field

6. Zo (oilers) - good hands, good route runner

7. Sanchez YG - i think hes a better returner than a reciever but still has good hands and runs decent routes

As the weeks go on I will assess more of the recievers but as of right now these are the guys to be concerned with...

Here's my issue with Los....now he definitely is talented but his toughness is questionable...the few games ive seen hes a deep ball threat that can jump but thats pretty much all there is to his game....ive seen him drops numerous slants and not a very good route runner

Ish seems to have developed into more of a defensive player....havent seen him too much on offense recently, definitely a good reciever, very physical, just not a "top" reciever in this league

Let's Keep it real fella's stop voting for your friends first of all ... We will see who the top recievers are when the league starts sunday. There's different types of recievers u have your shifty slots which cant be caught in the open field. 1.Pito, 2.Rocket theres nobody else in that catergory in this league... Deep threats straight Burners ish is rite nobody in this league in covering his man 1.achuletta.... 2. Rob descent speed more finess reciever... That boy Ish from the Gatorz is very solid doesn't have many flaws other than his 5.1 speed . Piggs just a bully who has superb speed an cause of his ability to stiff arm defenders to the ground he's dam near a one man army... everyone else prove urself ... get that money

the way you prove you skill level or if you're a "top-recievers" is not what you do against the sub-par teams, but what you do against the top teams. anyone can look like an all-american against sub-par comp and poor defenders, but when you go against a good team with good defenders who fly around the it seperates who's got skill and who's not real.

when you perform well against top noch competition then you are a "top-recievers" and the only way of knowing is showing once the season kicks off.

this is not the BCS we dont pick who we want to be the "top-recievers" before the season starts- you have to play the game and earn the right to be called a "top-reciever"

i saw most of the recievers on some of these list play against top teams of good defenders and not do anything at all, that aint a top reciever.

Pig and Rocket have been top performers no matter who they've played, they can flat out get it done- but to catagorize them as "top-recievers" they shouldnt be on anyone list. top athletes yes, top recievers no- if you dont agree, then you dont know football.

on the other hand Pito is a good reciever he runs routs well he catches the ball in traffic not many drops and his YAC in unbelievable.

but then again if you put good defenders on these players they might not be that affective. thats why you have to play the game first to see who's alright and who's got skill.

After watching for most of the season, this is who I'm feeling... (no order, not off just stats, but ability, just top dogs)

1. Young Gunz Wr Core. #9, #13, #21 - They shit on everyone, fast, shifty quick hands

2. Starrz Wr #23 - Makes a lot of big plays for them

3. Knights Wr #23 - Seen him burn some good DBs

4. Saints Wr #2 - Very athletic and quick, is always open downfield team just can't get the ball to him

5. Warriors Wr #1 - Fundamental player who makes plays

6. Oilers Wr #4 - Always finds a way to get behind the defense and scores nearly every time he touches the ball

7. Bulldogs Wr #6 - Very explosive, enough said

8. Gators Wr #3 - Eats when not getting out muscled

9. Vikings Wrs #1 & 13 - I swear they have almost all of their teams receiveing yards

I have to almost entirely agree with the scout that posted above. After watching most of the teams this season. When the young gunz have all 3 of those wr's # 9, #13,#21...they are all nasty and dangerous. They run great routes and all make big plays. The starss and knights both have awesome wr's cores....but #23 on the knights is fun to watch. The dude from the warriors gets busy, but he has no supporting cast. The vikings have #13 and #1, and they are pretty good too. But at the end of the day, the young gunz wr's are the real deal, and if I were a qb, I would want them

#13 has played QB in 3 games this year so it hurt his production and #1's production because hes more of a runner then a passer

i'm glad little #13 is gettin some credit, hes been steppin up against every team this year and has been one a few bright spots in the losses

June 9, 2010
11:49:58 AM

Entry #: 3498502
u can say all you want about stats not being a big deal... but look at the top teams in this league in terms of Wins/Losses.

They also have players in the top 3 or 4 in either Receiving, Rushing, or Passing.

Then look at the teams that are having bad seasons... and look at where their highest player is statistically...

Of course there are your typical "bell curve" teams that have a random guy at the top... but it's not the norm

you can say all you want, right now, stats are pretty accurate in regards to W's

Top 3 QBs in Yards - Starrs, Knights, YGz
Top 3 QBs in TDS - Starrs, YGz, Knights
Top 5 WRs in Yards - Starrs, Warriors, Starrs, Bulldogs, Vikings
Top 4 WRs in TDs - Starrs, Oilers, Starrs, Warriors, YGz
Top 3 RBs in Yards - Jaguars, Gatorz, YGz
Top 2 RBs in TDs - Gatorz, YGz

Other than the Jaguars, every team in there is pretty good, and if they aren't, then the player with those stats, makes that team BETTER than what they would be without them

stop hating on stats, people keep them for a reason

Nick C

Vs Oilers 3 Rec 40 yards 0 TDS
Vs Starrs 5 Rec 66 yards 0 TDS
Vs Knights 3 Rec 49 yards 0 TDS

Angiletta

vs Steelers 3 REC 67 yards 0 TDS
vs Warriors 2 REC 34 yards 0 TDS

Luckett

vs Oilers 4 REC 55 yards 1 TD
vs Warriors 5 REC 123 yards 1 TD

again im obviously not saying the other receivers arent good, but stop contradicting yourselves, stats do matter, especially when they are put up against the better teams. He without a doubt is a top 5 receiver

Good points Mason. Another thing, since when does playoffs have to do with the best WR in the League anyways. Andre Johnson is considered in most circles the best WR in the NFL right now, last year 3rd in receptions, 1st in yards, 3rd in TDs. Because his team didnt make the playoffs does that make him not the best? Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss 5th in Yards, 1st in TDs none of them did shit in the playoffs. They are still top 5 WRs. I dont really get it, stats matter, did those WRs only perform vs. shitty teams last year? i dont have the wherewithal to look through it but my guess is alot of their numbers came against sub par teams. It doesnt matter, they play who the NFL has on their schedules, and they are still the best in their positions. End of story.

1a. Quiles (Gunz)
1b. Angiletta (Knights)
3. Pito (Gunz)
4. Nick (Warriors)
5. Luckett (Starrs)

Honorable Mention
1. Dwight is top-5 but he plays for the Saints! The lack of a decent line and a good quarterback takes away from his productivity.
2. Ivan - He's been getting busy for years but it hurts when his fellow receiver has to be his quarterback, because he is top 5 material as well!

HAHA, i honestly could care less if you know who i am...

and like i said in my post, i did not say anything about the other receivers not being any good, all i said was that our receiver was a top 5 receiver...

instead of just making a statement, i made a statement supported by facts...

i tried to find common top level opponents that we played to compare stats and there wasn't many, that is why i choose those games. Obviously people had good games against other teams too, but they were not necessarily common opponents

How much Sosa? HAHA. Nah man I just analyze stuff I sit at a computer all day at work and get bored. But Sosa we can sit down and talk one day if theres money involved lol. We arent disrespecting anybody, Rambo, Angiletta, Calvin, Russell you can go on and on man you really can. Ish your boy dirty you got a few underrated wrs i noticed too. Klein is one of the better indoor guys in our league and he barely sees the field so we know yall wr core is talent filled. But I will promise you one thing is that the only baby blue on that mans jersey will be Starrs blue though haha.

All right I got your back Sosa. Yea we want to play Knights man trust me, hopefully we can it goin in the Conference Finals, if not we are down for the Rivalry game for sure, we can even put the Baby Blues on the line(although we are changing jerseys next year anyways haha) Just a forewarning is that 3 (ivan, russell, dc) of our best players are on the Vikings this year, they also play with us in every league but this spring. We want to be fully loaded for that game.

I have good stats, and I think I'm really good, but I HATE QB!

anyways..

Sosa, you brought up a pretty sick idea, even if it wasn't on purpose.

CASH, you should do a HFFL Fantasy football, I'd probably be a homer and take myself

haha, that would be pretty fun to follow

You cant look at stats because some are correct. And yeah cash I know you ask for corrections but there is a lot of players/teams in this league that dont take the time to come on here and correct the mistakes. So going by just stats isnt going to be correct.
