| So the Gunz feel that the G-men who backed out of this league would come to this league and make it to the playoffs before all of the "bum ass Hartford teams" Which teams do they feel are bums? all the Hartford teams or all the new teams tryna make it?? A comment I feel is disrespectful towards the HFFL teams so cash jus wondering can u eliminate fearnun and let the G-Men take their place and lets see if they could make it to the playoffs over the "bum ass Hartford teams" if not then the Gunz should stop sucking the gay men dick and worry about getting these wins and plays have all yall players we don't wanna hear excuses why you lost

| im up late doing stats john reeves but you have a great idea ill take the hffl top 7 teams and go against their top 7 teams (they can have young gunz and knights if they want) and whoever has the most wins at the end of the day wins $1000 dollars ill put up the money for the hffl teams, basically a best of 7... but im sure they wouldnt want that mr reeves. Tell them to put there money where they mouth is. No disrespect to gunz or knights.. but im very confident in the talent in the hffl... Hffl teams you can put the money up also if you want to if you want to keep the proceeds....We should up the ante to 3 grand to pay for our all star team to go to virginia. | Just to set a few things straight, I have not been ghost writing on this site at all and the HFFL staff can attest that the only post that have came from me were regarding the MCFFU tournament and were authored as GCFFA or GCFFA STAFF. If I have something to say I will put my name on it as I always have.
Antwon, I think your doing a very good job with the league as I knew you would. I see there have been issues but that is to be expected. Most are minor and fall in line with areas we had talked about that would come up due to lack of experience. Regardless I'm sure you will figure them out and the league will move on successfully.
To the teams, I think that multiple leagues in various locations running at the same time is actually a good idea and needs to be expanded on. Hartford has a large team base and will always be strong but there are many other cities with alot of talented teams that just cant make the trip to Hartford every sunday. Add to that the fact that in a 24 team league with a ten game schedule you will always have more than half the league not playing each other. Spread out to multiple cities, where teams would have less of a commute, have 8-12 team divisions with the top teams from each division coming together for a playoff system.
As for this topic:
I'm not sure the person who wrote on the GCFFA board was interpreted correctly but I think he was saying that the G-MEN would NOT make the playoff in the HFFL, regardless this has opened the door for an interesting proposition. Im all for some type of head to head matchup between the leagues. at the end of the day any new competition for the teams in good competition and would fuel teams participation. I like the idea that Showtime proposed but would increas it to 8-10 teams......like this:
GCFFA:
YOUNG GUNZ
CHARGERS
KNIGHTS
RAIDERS
HURRICANES
HFFL:
STEELERS
VIKINGS
OILERS
GATORZ
OILERS
Each team plays two games against teams from the opposite league. The 4 best overall records that remain will form the semi-finals and so on to a championship. Each team throws up $250 and each commissioner matches each teams $250 for a total of $500 per team or $5000......The overall champion would take home $4000 and the league with the best overall record would recieve the remaining $1000 to be used for league upgrades/costs or as a cash prize to the eventual league champion.
Let me know what you think, I would have to speak to each teams captains but I cant foresee any issues

| In looking at the calender, the weekend of July 12-13 would be a great weekend for an event like this. I have reached out to several of the facilities with whom we have a relationship with and am sure we could get a premium venue to play on.
Obviously to pull this off would involve some type of costs to operate so my suggestion is to select an appropriate and suitable facility and contact a local establishment to sponsor or host the event. If all the teams come together and patronize a sponsor restaurant or bar the day/days of the event I know we could get them to cover the field costs, this way every dollar would go back to the teams and would establish a working relationship with the business and the community.
Obviously there are alot of emotions being voiced but if this is to happen lets do it right and use our collective strengths to her CT flag as a whole. Its a win/win for all involved as far as I can see.

| Just to clear this up. Knights are playing in the HFFL. I was put in a jam so entered the knights into waterbury last minute. Most are guys wanted nothing to do with it. So i got the trojans to play with us there. With that said we are a GCFFA team but our 1 and only goal is to win the HFFL this SPRING!

Sometimes you see things and are quick to respond, like I was when I heard all the chatter on the HFFL board. I almost forgot who I was dealing with.....so I had to stop and think, where did this all come from and why? Remember fellas, dont let anyone kid you, in the end its all about the $$$, why else would the visitor counter be posted across the top of your website. Shit talking and soap operas sell! PERIOD!! What it boils down to is that the thread of messages that started this whole thing came from and included all but 2 IP adresses from the West Hartford area (including the GUNZ initial response). Its message board manipulators at there best and we all are falling for it.......So please recognize propaganda when you see it.
REGARDLESS,
This has all led to an interesting idea. But lets be realistic. You are asking us, an 8 team league that formed in 9 days to take 95% of our teams and play against your hand picked selection of 7 out of 24 teams, All because some annonymous clown was ghost writing for the YOUNGGUNZ to stir up controversy. We are not and never claimed to be ready for that. Not to mention the fact that there have already been numerous teams who have publicly announced there classification as GCFFA teams playing in the HFFL at this time. Some could not make the trip to waterbury, others for fear of not being refunded their money (ask the RAIDERS) and others for honoring there commitment that was made to the HFFL when the GCFFA was still involved and not wanting to ruin the league for other teams but changing so late.
The true GCFFA teams have played with me for years and are battled tested vs the best 9-man teams in the country, SO IF YOU WANT THE REAL GCFFA....COME AND GET IT CAUSE WE ARE A PROVEN COMMODITY THAT FEARS NO TEAM! | P.S Much respect for teams fighting for that goal. But the Steelers have been doing are own thing and we keep doing are own thing. We ball where ever when ever. We prove that years past, we are like Notre Dame we stay on the fench and watch teams hate. Jus like when we went out to New Haven and went back to back, came back home and we had hartford teams haten on us beacuse we played for the south. But we put that shit to rest and got in that ass. And did the 3peat. Now both leagues have a good thing going so don't fuck it up. All this talk brings out the best in us. Jus like when we lost to the whalers, everyone act like wow the Brownz/Steelers are done. Hahaha wrong, we feed off shit like that. And look what happed round 2? BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! Champs again,again,again,again,again,again,again,again. That's way people hate on us, but we have each other and that's all that matters.
