WILLIAMSBURG, VA – JUNE 26-27, 2010
9v9 Pro - 9v9 B - 8v8 Ineligible
The MCFFU and the USA Flag Football Circuit would like to invite you and your team to participate in the Annual USA Flag Football Summer Championships! This is the summer’s largest Ineligible tournament featuring teams from NY, NJ, PA, MD, CT, MA, RI, VA, NC, DC and more! This event will be held at the Warhill Sports Complex which features 6 turf fields, 8 Bermuda grass fields and 1 stadium (turf)!
Last years event had over 25 teams competing and this year there will even more competition for all levels! If you are serious about ineligible 9v9 flag football competition – this is it!
Styles featured:
9-Man Ineligible (Pro/Open)
9-Man Ineligible (Competitive – B)
8-Man Ineligible (Open)
Tournament Format: (ALL TEAMS ADVANCE TO SUNDAY)
The Pro/Open Division will consist of pool play on Saturday with the top percentage (based on total team count) advancing to the Pro Division on Sunday, while the lower percentage will compete in the Pro Open Division during Sunday’s elimination rounds.
The 9-Man Ineligible B division and 8v8 Ineligible Open will be completely separate from the Pro/Open Division and teams will play pool play on Saturday with single elimination on Sunday. The these Divisions will have elite teams competing from NY, CT, PA, MD, VA, NC and other states earning points for the Ineligible Open World Championships in Miami, FL held in January 2011 (MLK Weekend)
MCFFU – USA Officials:
The USA Circuit features the most diverse officials in competitive ineligible flag football! The USA Summer Championships will have certified MCFFU Ineligible Officials representing: TX, CA, NY, VA, MD, NC, PA, CT, GA and DC!
NOTE: The MCFFU covers all official fees for teams advancing to the final 4, which in turn reduces teams overall costs during tournament play.
