| The GCFFA and MCFFU are proud to announce that the 1st ever Nationaly recognized and fully sanctioned CONNECTICUT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT will be held in Waterburty CT on August 7-8 2010.
It is a fact that Connecticut has one of the largest, fastest growing and most competitive 9-man flag football networks in the nation. With teams from Norwalk, Bridgeport, Waterbuty, Hartford, New Haven, Willimantic and New Britain(amonst others) competing for the crown and title of KING of CONNECTICUT there will be no disputing who is the best of the best when the weekend is over.......

Not only will there be a CT STATE CHAMPION crowned at this years "KING of CONNECTICUT" tournament but we will also be hosted numerous individual skills events to showcase the athetes we have here in CT flag.
These events will take place on Saturday of the event in two seperate heats or qualifiers(one in the AM and one in the PM) with the top 2 finishers in each heat meeting on Sunday for the finals. Your heat will be determined by your teams game time.
All participants must register via email by the August 1st registration deadline and must sign in and pay registration fee prior to there heat.
There is a $5 per person registration fee
Each winner will receive a $50 Dicks Sporting Goods gift certificate, plaque and event t-shirt

| Cash you for real? You keep making yourself sound more ignorant day by day. I know you like to compete with Chris and you def out did him when comparing leagues. But you actually think it would be a good idea, or people would choose your tourney, if you did the same exact idea and offered no MCFFU points. That is what it is all about. When it comes to tourneys, MCFFU are almost a must. Teams want those points for nationals. I mean if your team wants any chance of even sniffing nationals you would be wise to join every tourney the MCFFU sanctions. Unless you decided that since you are the best at every position, best coach, best water boy, best cheerleader, etc. that you will just do a one man team and win tourney's all by yourself.

| well since you really must know... this was actually all my idea that i presented to chris.... down to all the competitions.... wasnt going to mention that part until you just tried to exploit me... so i had to bring it to the light that yes this state tournament was all my idea!!!! now that someonelse is using it... i think i should try to get in on it.... sorta like if you have an idea and someoneelse else presents it to the boss like it was all thiers and takes all credit.
didnt feel like getting into a war about it being my idea so i wasnt going to mention it... but chris can now thank you for it! good job! as i thought it was a good cut throat business move by chris where i lost! and i was able to take the lost as a man as i like good comp.... but now you are giving me an opputunity to make it a positive... so again chris can thank you personally for me saying again....THIS WAS ALL MY IDEA... as im sure i talked to a few team owners about my state tournament and all the activities as i told them to chris early on...GOod JOB doug98 and thank you for giving me a reason to tell the truth lol!!!
and i have a question for you... if my leagues regular season gives out mcffu points... what would make you think my tournament wouldnt??? im really asking this question to see if you are just talking, so please answer... ill be waiting.if you havent noticed yet..IM IN THE MCFFU and have the power to hold any tournament i want and award te proper points
and also on the ignorant note... how can offering the same product with better or higher quality for cheaper be ignorant? i would say ignorant is someone complaining about getting the same product for cheaper.dont you think???

| Well there Cash, going by what you said, you were upset b/c someone else got it done before you did, thats your problem. And so you said you would hold a tourney the same day as the MCFFU sanctioned event. Now how do you figure the MCFFU would sanction another tourney in the same area on the same day? That was my point. You just like to run your mouth all the time and recently alot of your talk has been just that. You made bets about VA and then tucked your tail between your legs, you went out on other websites and made claims about getting W's and went winless, your team wasn't to thrilled with anything you did in VA, and so on. You did a great job with the league and be happy with that, but making everything else about you is getting old. Just sit back, be humble and stop complaining about shit and more ppl would take you seriously.

Pretty self explanatory.....IF WE HAVE ENOUGH PARTICIPANTS (VERY LITTLE INTEREST SO FAR), Each participant will have 90 Seconds to complete as many reps as possible at 225 lbs.
CT FLAG'S FASTEST MAN
***40 yard dash***
This event has received the most interest and will be run in 2 heats. All participants in each heat will line up for a sprint of 40 yds. The top 2 competitors from each heat will meet on Sunday in a single 4 person race to decide CT's FASTEST MAN!
CT FLAG'S BIG FOOT
***Field goal contest***
Each particpant will get 2 kicks each from the 20, 25 and 30 yd line and must make one kick from each to advance. Once we reach the 35 yd line it will be 1 kick each...MAKE IT OR GO HOME, backing up 5 yds each round, until a winner is reached
CT FLAG'S QB CHALLENGE
***Accuracy and longest throw***
This competition will feature 3 stationary targets, each with a 3 ring bullseye. The first target will be at 15 yds and points will be awarded in a 1-3-5 scale. The second target will be at 25 yds and points will be awarded in a 3-6-15 scale. The third and final target will be at 35 yds and points will be rewarded in a 6-18-30 scale. The last throw ill be for distance and points will be awarded based on the number of participants in decending order of finish.....example: 5 competitors would throw with the longest throw receiving 50 points the second 40 pts, third 30 pts and so on.
THERE WILL BE A 15 SECOND CLOCK TO COMPLETE THIS EVENT!

| Just a reminder to all teams and competition participants that the deadline to register for the 2010 "KING of CONNECTICUT" State Championship Tournament is August 1, 2010.
Registration includes a minimum of a 50% Deposit, a completed roster submitted via email and for those who wish to participate in the skills competition you must also email your name, team name and the event you intend to compete in.
