| Although we won't have a very large team, the Chargers have made the commitment to attend the Mike Discipio Benefit tournament this weekend in Albany. For those who don't know, Mike is a former flag player who was paralyzed in a freak accident. 100% of the proceeds go to Mike and his family to help defer medical costs. This is a great, great cause and always an excellent event.
So, we will be very light this weekend and are looking for any CT players that would like to ball this weekend........its all about the cause and having a good time. I have arranged to have our games completed on Saturday before 1:30 so that anyone who needs to come back to CT (its only 2 hrs from Hartford) can do so with plenty of time to spare. The ***** will be putting up $300 fopr the event and we are asking anyone who plays to pitch in $25 to donate to Mike Discipio and cover the remaining entry costs. No egos need call this is for those who are looking to have fun and support a fellow flag player
