| I don't think the refs sucked... I just think with two refs, in 9v9 full contact flag, with the caliber of athletes we have on the field, and the competitive nature of each player... The refs are not put in a position to be successful.
Even most JV football games will have 3 officials... And when there are two, they go out of their way to let u know shit is going to be missed...
One of the big terms you hear from officials all the time is "Triangulation". It allows the "3" refs to position themselves to see the whole field of play, and players at all times, including when the ball is moving down field, being able to trail, stay with, and stay ahead of the ball
You don't get that with two officials... Especially I they are inexperienced or just not willing to sprint (not to say our refs aren't, but u know what I mean, in general)
