Gamblers vs. Raiders This game was pretty close to start the game. It was back and forth for the first few drives until the Gamblers put together a scoring drive. QB Mike Colavito looked strong throughout, passing for 144 Yards and 1 TD. The Raiders at times seemed very overmatched in this merger squad between the Beech Raiders and Hartford Eagles. They have some work to do if they want to get some wins this year.

             Assasins vs. Cowboys There is no official stats on the Assasins side as of yet. On the Cowboys squad, Rick Padilla appears to be a star in the making. He rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on the day. The Cowboys need more work in the passing game but all in all a competitive game between 2 solid teams, where the Assasins ended on top 12-6.

             
             

             
             

             

             Rams vs. Elite 2 newcomer teams battled it out yesterday in a close game. The Rams were the better team yesterday, they ran for 85 yards as a team and Joe Macon caught 3 passes for 74 yards and a TD. Not too many stats stood out for the Elite, who may be looking to find their identify in this league. All in all, it was 2 good debuts for each team, both of which is no pushover team down the road.

Havoc vs. Hit Squad This game was not one for the weak at heart and it showed. If you wanted to watch a brutal, hard hitting slugfest this was the game to keep both eyes on throughout. QB Jose Colon did what he usually does for the Ravens and that is managing the game and hurting you on the ground. Jose ran for 88 yards and through for 50 on his own. Not too many standout players on Hit Squad this game, although Jon Green did have 5 catches for 73 yards. Ravens narrowly out duel Hit Squad 14-6

             Lions vs. Wolverines Tough start of the year for the Lions. The Wolverines really put it on them from the get go. The Wolverines run the ball well, and new addition Henry Meneses did not disappoint in his debut game with the Wolverines rushing for 93 yards on 8 attempts. Not much to say in regards to the Lions, they look like a rookie team ready to take some lumps. Wolverines over Lions 21-0
