AROUND THE LEAGUE WEEK 4
 Maine Events
Steelers vs. Vikings—This was the first coming out party of the year for new Steelers QB Jaime ‘Rocket’ Bryant. He passed for 170 yards and 3 touchdowns vs. the shorthanded Vikings. Chris Collins and Anrae Fevrier both had big days on the receiving end. Each WR had over 80 yards and a TD. There wasn’t too many standout stats for the Vikings on the day. Ivan Schmidt had 72 receiving yards and a TD and Safety Chris Gotay recorded 4 flag grabs. This Vikings team is still a mystery, some weeks looking like an elite team, some weeks looking not so strong. They really need to find an identity and fast.
Standout Offensive Player- Rocket Bryant- 170 Passing Yards, 3 TDs.
Standout Defensive Player- Anrae Fevrier- 3 Flag Pulls, 3 sacks.
Havoc vs. Bearcats – The top team in CT the Paper City Havoc came out with a mindset to run down the Bearcats throat. And this mentality worked to perfection. They rushed for 222 Yards as a team, Jose Colon ran for 104 yards and a TD and also passed for 104 yards and a TD. On defense, Ray Phillips had 5 flag pulls and Harry Melendez recorded 4 flags, and 2 interceptions. The Bearcats defense was very shaky, Offensively put up their usual numbers. QB Josh Spence passed for 260 yards and a 2 TDs. His star wideout Pat Luckett also had 6 catches for 130 receiving yards and 2 tds. It was not enough though, Havoc remains undefeated
.
Standout Offensive Player – Jose Colon- 104 Passing and Rushing Yards, 2 total TDs
Standout Defensive Player—Harry Melendez- 4 Flag Pulls, 2 Interceptions

Young Gunz vs. High Rollerz – Reigning MVP Devaughn Meade made a huge buzz before the week 3 roster deadline by jumping to the High Rollerz team. It wasn’t enough to get past the champions team from New Britain. Chris Roberts passed for 193 Yards and 2 Touchdowns although their offense did appear to struggle for majority of the game. Bam Gohagon had a good game for the Gunz, having 3 catches for 70 receiving yards. On Defense Tony Morales had 3 flag pulls and an interception. The High Rollerz looked to be a team without a true identity and rightfully so as they just picked up a new QB. Meade passed for 140 yards and a TD but also did have 3 costly interceptions Sunday. Dawud Hanif had a big day for the Rollerz with 105 receiving yards and a Touchdown.
Standout Offensive Player – Chris Roberts- 193 Yards, 2 TDs
Standout Defensive Player- Tony Morales- 3 Flag Pulls, INT

Hit Squad vs. Oilers – This was the hard hitting defensive battle type game that you are used to seeing with these 2 teams on the field squaring off. The Oilers picked up former Gamblers QB Mike Colavito to move former QB Mark Moore to his natural position, WR. It showed as Moore had a big receiving day with 60 yards and a TD. Kevin Hendon had a impressive day on Defense for the Oilers recording 7 flags. Give credit to the Oilers defense for Sunday, as the Hit Squad really don’t have a player worth mentioning statwise. Sean Haynes did record 3 sacks on defense though for the Squad.
Standout Offensive Player—Mark Moore- 5 Catches, 65 yards, TD
Standout Defensive Player—Marvin Taylor- 7 Flag Pulls

Week 4 Under Cards

Lions Den vs. Cowboys – This game was blowout city for the Lions Den of Springfield. QB Reggie Woodard put in another great performance, passing for 285 yards and 4 more TDs. WR Andre Lester had 3 catches for 180 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns as well. Damian Jones also had 4 catches for 50 receiving yards on the day as well for the Lions. The Cowboys looked outmanned in this one. Their best 2 players Ish Santos (suspension) and Rick Padilla (injury) were not in the lineup and it showed. It seems like the Cowboys just cant catch a break this year. I still feel this team has potential but they just cant seem to get in the win column.   Standout Offensive Player—Reggie Woodard- 286 Passing Yards, 4 TDs
Standout Defensive Player—Brandon Cooper- 3 Flag Pulls, 2 Sacks
Assassins vs. Rams – The Rams are having a tough road in the CFFL. A lot of pre season chatter took place for the Rams, but not much to back it up on the field. The Assassins pounded the run as they usually do on Sunday. Ronald Back passed for 120 yards, and ran for 2 TDs on the day. Frankie Commacho also caught 3 passes for 51 Yards. Antonio Lavoy recorded 5 Flags on the day for the Wolverines. The Rams on the other hand, have really struggled since an opening day win. Other than 2 sacks by Dominique Rogers, there really is nothing impressive to speak of statwise for the Rams.
Standout Offensive Player – Ronald Back Passing Yards, 2 Rushing TDs
Standout Defensive Player—Antonio Lavoy- 5 Flag Pulls
Wolverines vs. Raiders – In what ended up being one of the least talked about, more exciting games of the day the Raiders squeaked out a win vs. the Wolverines. The Raiders only made 10 passing attempts which was a low total for any team. With that said they still put up 19 points behind running back Marcus Mccray who had 77 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. On defense, Brett Burnham recorded 4 flag pulls. For the Wolverines, they compete every week but just cant seem to make the plays needed week in and week out to pull out wins. Antonio Ortiz had 100 passing yards and 2 TDs on the day and Pedro Vega had 55 receiving yards and a TD also.
Standout Offensive Player—Marcus Mccray- 77 rushing yards, 2 TDs.
Standout Defensive Player—Brett Burnham- 4 flag pulls
