Here we go with week 3

Steelers/Patriots -

The Steelers coming off a nice win last week against a surprisingly very good Dolphins team. Needed some last minute heroics from rocket to get that W. We'll be able to breathe easy this week because i do not foresee them having any trouble with this up-start team. Look for Rocket to have some big numbers by the end of this one. Iwould also like to see Dblock be worked more into the offense. Pats have a solid leader at Qb in AJ with some dual threat ability but they are running into a year in year out power here in the CFFL. Look for the pats to take the 2nd L in their CFFL career.

Steelers 28 - Patriots 6

Wolves/Hawks -

A battle between 2 newcomers to the CFFL and both coming off losses in the first 2 weeks. So someone has to win (well maybe). But If there was a bright spot between these 2 teams so far this season it might have to be the Hawks Defense. they are holding teams to about 12.5 pts a game and that was against to very good teams (HS and Phins) so they are doing something right on that side of the ball. The Wolves on the other hand are struggling in all areas so far in this young season. If they are to get a win this year, i would say this is one of their best chances this week. Don't be fooled sometimes the battle of the basement can provide some fireworks. But do expect much

Hawks 12 - Wolves 6

Assassins/Havoc -

Assassins coming off a bye week last week should have had time to work out the issues in their camp and get focused and ready to compete this week. This is not an easy team they are about to face in Havoc. both these teams are scrappy and feisty. i expect a lot of trash to be spoken and extra curricular stuff going on after plays. these teams both bring it. Havoc looked good in their win last week (although it was against the wolves) and i would expect the same this week. Can the tough d (with no names) hold the mighty troy in check? Or can the Assassins hold it together as A TEAM?

Assassins 13 - Havoc 12 (this one would def. be a Pick em if your gambling)

Bears/ducks -

Well this one is probably the most important game of the young season. A must WIN for both teams. Heres why, for the ducks it is a MUST WIN or trying to turn a 0-3 start into a playoff spot will be tough to do. and the Bears who opened the season with a nice W but took a tough L last week don't want to be 1-2 going into their later game against Second String (which isn't going to be easy). The ducks QB situation doesn't look to be getting any better with the Injury to Spence. The Bears had a lead at half last week then fell apart so how is the confidence of this team? I think this one could be a GAME OF THE WEEK candidate BUT the ducks don't deserve that just yet.

Bears 7 - ducks 6

Bears/Second String -

Ok we know what the Bears have a game before this match-up and its a big game to . SO one would be lead to believe that they will be worn out. But these Bears have fight and will (or should be) extra hungry if the first game doesnt go their way . Which would now make this a MUST win for them if they are looking at the playoffs. Either way the first game goes Second String has a game on their hands. Im not sure who this "Chef" is but he seems to have some serious feeling towards the Second String team. Is he a bear and he will looking to prove his points he has been making all week??? no one knows. Second String got back to winning last week. They're a team that is to good to not perform week in and week out. "Chef" gave some gameplans as to how to stop the 2 headed Twin monster that Second String brings to the table but lets see if the Bears use the gameplan and if it works?

Second String 18 - Bears 12

GAMES OF THE WEEK -

The reason i have 2 is because I CAN

HitSquad/Bulldogs -

This game is intriguing for many reasons but none any more than feeling of "Being Cheated" that they felt this past Fall, after the game between these 2 where there was a questionable call on a last second TD catch by Macon. Anyway not to bring up the past. These 2 teams usually bring an exciting game when they meet. HitSquad is the best running team in the league and the Dline that the Dogs had last week was the best i've seen so far this season. that match-up alone makes me think this one is going to get physical. Not to mention i heard a lot of players/fans (maybe some Hitsquad)last week saying that the Bulldogs aren't that great and are not the best team in the league. Some even said that there weren't even top 2. Well HitSquad the past record isnt in your favor between you 2 BUT here is your chance to prove yourselves.

KEYS TO THE GAME: (this is my new thing for GAME(S) OF WEEK:

HitSquad DB's vs. Bulldogs WR ( esp. TYRECE)
HitSquad oline/RB's vs Bulldogs dline
HitSquad QB vs. Bulldogs DB

Bulldogs 12 - Hitsquad 6

Score if the Bulldogs show up with last weeks team
Bulldogs 18 - Hitsquad 0

Vikings/Dolphins -

After the surprise performance last week the Dolphins are on everyones radar. But it doesnt get much easier for the phins this week as they are going up against another Championship contender (and what some believe to be the best team in the league) in the VIKINGS. I admit I'm a Viking Bandwagon guy. These guys are good, VERY good and i dont think they have yet fully gelled yet on offense with new QB Aubrey. Well you wanted to be a playoff team and here in back to back weeks you get 2 of the CFFL's consistent playoffs teams. Dophins new star Cooper will have to come up big again this week and the Defense of the phins will have to have a game similar to last week if they want to take down these Vikings

KEYS TO THE GAME:

Dolphins Dline vs. Aubrey
Vikings DB's vs Cooper/Pool
Vikings WR's vs Dolphins DB's (this one is the biggest to me)

Vikings 18 - Dolphins 12

Good Luck to all the Teams and be safe

And maybe all players can wear black somewhere to remember the victims of the Tragedy in Boston on Monday? I think it would be a nice gesture. Just an idea
