Now that i was able cleans off the BS that the Commish is spewing i can focus on this upcoming week. and what a week we have in store:

We have some teams really fighting to get in the Playoffs and need wins and then we have some New Kids on the Block looking right into the eyes of the Old School big boys ready for a fight.

Ducks/Hawks -

With the playoffs out of reach for the Hawks they look to play spoiler to the Ducks sunday. A Ducks Loss will all but close the playoff door for them. The Ducks have been flying high the last few weeks avoiding the Duck Hunters (great nintendo game). I feel that Spence will have enough around him to get it done against the feisty Hawks Defense. I would look to Dawud, who has turned it on a bit the last few games, to keep it up Sunday. Hawks Offense just struggles to much and that will continue Sunday.

Ducks 18 - Hawks 6

Assassins/Patriots -

These 2 teams are playing for a lot in this one. Assassin to try and improve their playoff seeding and Patriots just trying to stay alive in the hunt for a playoff spot. The Patriots are just on the outside looking in and with 2 weekends left they need some wins. I look to them to really come out fired up and hungry. Their offense will have to get out of the funk its been in the last 2 weeks and find a way to create some scoring drives. It will not be easy against the defense of the Assassins who im sure will be looking to avenge the loss last week to HitSquad. Big question here is will Troy be able to keep the troops focused and not looking to the game later against the Ducks? I am going with it wont be the best performance from the Assassins ever BUT will be enough to get the W and really put a dent in the Patriots playoff hopes.

Assassins 20 - Patriots 6

Bulldogs/Vikings -

It what some would maybe have thought to a battle for first place has turned into a must win for the Vikings who are just barely holding onto the last playoff spot. A team that started with so much promise this season has fallen on hard times of late losing 3 in a row. And rumors of some discourse in the locker room (well sideline) amongst the players. You never know what you will get with this group. Aubrey will need his team to help out esp his OL. The Bulldogs have been getting some ppl pumping them up on the board lately and lets hope they show up. Im guessing they still have a bad taste in their mouths from the playoff loss last year. I expect Tyrece to be rested from the week off and to come out wanting blood. Bulldogs Secondary better wake up or it may be a rough one.

Bulldogs 18 - Vikings 12

HitSquad/Dolphins -

Im not sure what is going on here so i cant really say much. except no matter if the game is played or not HITSQUAD'S DEFENSE IN NASTY!!!

HitSquad 4 - Dolphins 0

Assassins/Ducks -

Lets say both teams got wins in their first game that makes this game very interesting. Assassins lose and they fall to the brink of missing the playoffs and will also lose the tie breaker to the Ducks. Ducks win and they may actually make the playoffs after that horrid start to the season. this game will have all the dramatics in it. I think that Spence cant have one of those Spence games, a TD or 2 and 2 INT's. he needs to play at his highest level, which is easy to say when im not staring at Marlon and Manson. Troy also needs to really work this secondary of the Ducks which has its weaknesses. Also Troy will need to control the game with his legs and keep the ball moving. Dawud here is your call to to come through. You need to to have yourself a big game.

Assassins 12 - Ducks 6

Second String/Havoc -

Well Second string I hope you learned from the Bulldogs last week that you should not take this team lightly. Havoc will be ready to get an upset and gladly prove the commish's theory of a competitive league correct. Both teams Secondaries will be put to the test in this one. Gio Ortiz will have to be contained or it will be a long day for the S.S. Db's. and the same goes for the Havoc secondary that was picked apart last week and S.S. passing game is one of the best. NOTE: Jason Gelsomino is very good and gets the ball a lot. just incase you are like the rest of the league and seem to not have figured that out yet. The S.S. DL lead by Anselmo will have to pressure Colon alot get him out of the pocket.

Second String 21 - Havoc 14

GAMES OF THE WEEK:

HitSquad/Second String -

For the second week in a row S.S. has a double header and will have fight through 2 physical games again. This time they are running head on into the leagues most fierce defense and they're playing at an all season high. HitSquad is coming riding a 3 game winning streak and the last 2 were against team that would have been favored. HitSquad's offense has been a little of a surprise, moving the ball and scoring some points lately. They will have to again this week if they want to keep that winning streak alive. S.S. is that annoying nerdy kid that is good at everything and it pisses you off because you cant understand why? Well they dont over extend themselves, they dont pretend to be something they are not. they play the game and keep finding ways to win. Well good luck Twins because your highly explosive passing attack will be staring right at Harris, Rodgers, Haynes, Williams, Huff and Company. Good luck with that.

KEY MATCHUPS:
B.Gelsomino vs HitSquad DL
HitSquad Offense vs themselves
J.Gelsomino vs HitSquad Secondary

HitSquad 13 - Second String 12

Bears/Bulldogs -

The Bulldogs are not message board talkers and so this game doesnt have the hype of the Steelers/Bears clash last weekend but should. This game pits who i believe is the best team in the league (Bulldogs) and the Hottest team in the league (Bears). Ish is really feeling it of late and its going to be a real chore for the Bulldogs to find a way to stop this offense. Ish has been doing a great job protecting the ball (2 INTs in the last 4 games) and he will need to keep it up. You do not want to give this Bulldogs Offense extra chances. Bears Secondary you didnt like being called a weakness well here is your chance to prove yourselves against a passing attack that is a good as it gets here in the CFFL. You cant just focus on Tyrece because Bartunek, Harris and others can hurt you as much. this may force some one on one opportunities for Tyrece, Jamal Woodard will have his hands full. The OL of the bears will have to be on point as the Bulldogs know how to bring the pressure and Ish will need to be ready. Not to be outdone the Bulldogs Secondary better account for Mr.Hall or you will find yourselves on the losing end of this battle. Also very curious to see how Padilla is able to run against a very strong front 5-6 of the Bulldogs? Teams have not found much running room against them this year so far, M.Bartunek, Mo Lloyd and Morales will have to be on top of their games. Im not sure which way to go on this one.

KEY MATCHUPS:
Ish vs Cervizzi
Bears OL vs Bulldogs DL
Padilla vs Morales
Tyrece vs Bears DB's

Bears 21 - Bulldogs 18
