Ducks vs. Raiders

Not sure the Ducks will improve from last year, losing a few key players. They will show up and play hard, but that won’t be enough against a solid Raiders team who has had some key subtractions of their own. They did however make some nice moves to keep them a top of the division. So this one will look to be a repeat of last years matchup with the Raiders winning, but may be more convincing than the 26-14 win last season.

Raiders 35
Ducks 6

Lions vs Bombers

This game really interest me. The Lions will lost Baccarella and White to college. Karrone is a solid starting QB who should be able to lead the offense. Ladore and Gordon will lead on both sides of the ball with Winters continually annoying the opposing QB. Not sure of any notable additions for the Lions, but they are always a tough matchup. Coming off a 6-3 season they are looking to continue being one of the tougher teams in the league. The Bombers, also coming off a 6-3 season has had some key player losses as well. Can their offense still be a solid producer, with Papa at QB anything can happen. This game is going to be a touch one.

Bombers 12

Sharks vs Gators

Gators come back as the 2 time champion finishing last year at 10-0. I know the Gators are looking for a repeat with most of their team back and even a few additions to further strengthen both sides of the ball. With AJ at QB and the weapons at WR and RB they look at another solid year. Look for the Gators to start a bit slow, but finish strong, their return game will also play a big factor all season. The Sharks are coming off a disappointing 4-5 season last year with key injury at QB, so they could never really get in sync on offense. Defense was solid, but gave up some big plays. The Sharks seem to be healthy this year with good amount of solid additions to the team to really help on both sides of the ball. Look for the Sharks to cause some fits this season within the league.

Sharks 14
