Hernandez and Collins
both have big yards but low catches. just getting and an occasional deep ball. meaning they are more like a 3rd or 4th option in the offense which makes it hard to give them a top ten rating.
Harris/Ang are not a top 10 WR RIGHT now. come on neither have 10 catches yet, Ang has 0 tds. Hey i know the knights are going to come out swinging ON THIS ONE, but its simple the stats arent there. I KNOW HOW GOOD BOTH ARE AND CAN BE BUT HAVENT GOT THE NUMBERS TO BE RATED OVER THE OTHERS RIGHT NOW.
at some point you guys will have to stop just pumping up your boys and actually watch what is going on in the game. and give CREDIT to the guys putting in work on the field.

NFL pro bowl goes to the best players who had the best season NOT the guys that are supposed to be the best? This aint grade school we all don't get medals.
according to your rational an unknown player that is having a great year lets say at DE and is top 3 is sacks and flags should not be considered to be top 5 that season because he is not one of the guys that is "suppose" to be top 5 . hahahahaha
you no names (salty) ask top 10 RB's, top 10 WR's, Top 10 Dline and etc. BUT don't want it to be based off of season stats? what is supposed to be to based off? guys that have been good in past seasons or only play a few games? (IE why all pro sports have minimum Games played requirements)
I'm not saying that if tyrece or rocket are having bad years and not putting up stats they are not better than a Bartunek, Pierce, walters, lorenti but to say that those guys don't deserve to considered top 10 that particular season if there stats say so, is straight garbage and you know it. IM not building a team around those guys they are just having a season that is making their respective teams better and deserve to be recognized for it.
If you asked me to make an all-star team would i pick lorenti, walters, bartunek, hall etc over tyrece, rocket, ang etc

What do you really want the list to go off of playa? what is the point of the stats? If you don't want them to matter then stop paying for them to be kept.

YES you want to ask top 10 look at the stat sheets and those are the BEST PERFORMING individuals to date. NEWS FLASH that is what stats are for.
i have never seen a guy have 10 rec 125 yds 2 TD's and have his coach go well hey since A over here is supposed to be the best player we have D, i can't give you the game ball today.he was the one that was suppose to have those numbers.
According to your logic Tom Brady should have never become Tom Brady because Bledsoe was the starter and better player in the coaching staffs eyes.

| Happy ESPN, I posted a name. SAME AS YOU. I guess i'm creditable now, right? Tom Brady is not in the top 10 currently of passing stats, yet if you ask any analyst who the top 10 QBs are I'm pretty sure Tom Brady will be mentioned every time.

| This debate happens every year it is always stat guy vs reputation guy. Yes pro bowl is based on stats. But there is multiple ways to rank top tens. You can do it based on stats or top based on reputation or previous accomplishments. So Larry Fitzgerald is a top 10 we in the league but never has top ten stats bc of things he can't control (bad online bad qb no number 2 we so always doubled etc) so it top ten is too vague. Top ten in rec yards top ten in some category or top ten overall. The same guys are always mentioned because people that play against them know how good they are even if their stats are not great. So people need to realize this is not a black or white issue or good or bad issue. The issue is starting a topic of top ten. Play ball fellas and have fun. Guys who have played in this league for years know which receivers are good and deserve respect. Good luck to all teams and stop the hate.

After doing a lot of thinking and talking to dudes. no one really knows who he is. Some do. It has me confused at who could possibly be so mad at one guy that is mostly unknown? so it has to be someone who knows him. HAS TO BE? I'm curious after looking at my list that no one had a problem with a Lorenti, Walters, Pierce, guys who are really complete unknowns to the league as a whole BUT yet only had a problem with ONE Specific person. so its either someone on his team or someone who is real Salty with him? and i can't see one person on the list that was posted before mine that would even really know him that he replaced outside of a teammate. Now i have no idea who knows who and all that. i don't know him or anyone on his team but CMON MAN

LASTLY never said that your QB was terrible. think he is playing well but he didn't perform against the steelers or the guns in crunch time. SIMPLE. Bartunek don't need defending, his place in the league is earned and noticed. That is why I don't consider him " under appreciated or unknown". As far as ghostwriting....PLLLEAASSSEE!

| I come to the message board maybe once a week to get gametimes. Thats it. This is probably the 10 th time I have ever posted something on here in all my years in the league. I am completey shocked all this is about me. Anyone who knows me knows this message boad stuff isnt for me. And definitely know I dont care about this stuff enough to ever spend this much time on all this nor do I even know 85% of the guys in this league. I dont care if im top 10, 20, 30, 100 because after my game is over and when I get home to what really matters my wife and daughter they don't give a shit if I'm in some list. My life doesn't change, I'm not getting any $ for it, it's not helping support them. Gonz doesn't need to say anything for me. I have known him for longer than some of you guys have been alive. If he wanted me to know how he felt he would tell me trust me. and I would never say anything bad about a teammate I would just say it to them personally. I believe I have earned the respect of guys I play against and with. I don't care if you think I'm slow, garbage, old, white, can't catch, smell, fat, anything. If you want to say I deserve to be on some list thanks. If you don't thanks. I go out on Sundays to play a game I love and feel extremely lucky to still be able to play at a high level. There ain't much time left before I won't be anymore and I'm golfing every Sunday. So as I do every Sunday. I will be at the field today getting ready to play another very good team. If you want to tell me something I'm not that hard to find. I'm am not associated with espn so pleased keep me out of all this nonsense. To all guys playing today have fun and stay healthy.
