| As a coach I attended the All-Star picks, during the meeting it was said that it's fine to tell the chosen player, yet we should encourage them from not bragging about it too their teammates. Totally Understandable. What I don't understand is how the nominee list was made public too parents. Now their is a fire storm about "Why was my child not picked. You only picked so and so for this reason!" It seems like such things should have been kept between the coaches and not broadcasted to parents who may be looking for something to be upset about.
