| Join the American Cancer Society for the 9th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer DC 5K walk starting at the Sylvan Theatre on the National Mall. Since 1993, Strides events nationwide have raised $460 million to fight breast cancer. And the American Cancer Society spends more money on breast cancer research than any other cancer type. Half of all American women diagnosed with breast cancer turn to the American Cancer Society for help.
