| I invite my Ultimate Cheer Family to join me in supporting our troops by sending them a care package. I have a US Army Platoon that I have adopted and I know how grateful they are when they receive care package or even just a thank you note. I will have boxes at the gym where items can be placed in. Once boxes are full I will ship them out to our platoon. Please keep in mind that any notes or cards will have to be approved by me before they are sent. The only information I can tell you is that there are approximately 18 in this platoon including 4 females. All items sent are shared by all in the platoon so no need to send each individual person an item. example: bag of pretzles, send a large bag so they can share.(even better some plastic baggies they can use to share the bag of pretzels.)
I have listed below a few suggestions:
non-perishable healthy snacks, cliff bars (do-not need choco-flavor),nuts,pretzles,trail mix,grabola bars,beef jerky, peanut m&m's,room deodorizer,hand sanitizer.anything to help boost Soldiers moral: support mail,current magazines/books,board games,DVD's,....anything fun they can do during their down time.
I have a much larger list. If you would like to have a copy of the list just send me an e-mail and I will send it to you.

| What do you think about setting up a small table with crayons and marker with paper, so the girls could write notes before or after classes? I would be willing to supply a pack of paper, crayons and markers and a day or two to sit up there, if some other parents are willing. It is the least we could do. I don't see much in the box, would you like me to bring a little bigger box. Let me know what you think?
