| guys we are playing for fun!! the reason for joining these leaugs is because we want to play other people at our respective sports. I understand if someone is cheating the rules of the game, but if they need to use someone last minute then whats the big deal??? Its not like we have a salary cap or anything. At the begining of the year you can have who ever u want. so who cares if they use them in the middle of the season??? Are people really that into winning?? would you rather the other team forfit and not play??? If you want you can give me 350 dollars and ill role dice to determine who wins and no one will ever have to take thhe field. Grow up, play your game and have fun. If you lose be a man(or woman) and take. dont go crying to the city of victorville.

| If you are not going to follow the rules then why have them. Without rules this league wouldn't exist, there would be no purpose.
But I guess you think it is OK to cheat,steal, or kill too, if you don't get caught right. That's alright, I call that job security for me. Thanks for keeping be gainsfully employed.

| hey why dont we just have dave make a sub list and whoever needs a player give them a call they can be on anyones roster i never care if someone uses a diff player who cares i wanna play......... but yeah i think we should do that and they can play anytime as many games as they want in a game

| I would just like to add that players get bruised up and injured during a 10-week season of soccer. especially at our age, lol. Is it fair that one team plays with injured players and even has some players sitting out because of injuries, while another team just brings in a fresh roster of new players to 'fill in' for the play-offs?
If a team has a problem with the rules, maybe they should protest it....now thats ironic?

| The main reason for the roster is for accountability and liability issues on the city side. An idea for the future to avoid roster conflicts, I think the league should look into having player cards issued to those players on a teams roster. This is used in many other leagues, including some of those leagues down the hill that this league is constantly trying to mimic. These cards would be presented to the refs before each game, avoiding any roster conflicts.
Just a suggestions to consider that seems to work elsewhere.
