| this lack of communication is getting out of control what are the rules and why does bill keep acting like his word higher than daves not true we never even got our official shoot out like promised because of really bad communication this is really starting to look bad on the league i was at the meeting NO sliding you cant just keep changing things people give me money to play with the rules they are told people want to play rec. and get up the next day we dont want to get hurt no wonder we cant get it together which is it tackle or no i am talking to dave not badboy if tackle then the chicks are probly out of the mix because i told my girls NO tackle sooooo...

| Try reading some of the other topics, 1 of them tells people how I talked to teams at their first game and if neither team wants slide tackling than no slide tackling; it is as simple as that.
The communication is bad and I do agree with you on it that it is bad for the league. By the way, has anybody not complained over a rule or a foul ? NO, hopfully that 1 women's team can sign up today otherwise I guess all this talk was for not.

| well we are signed up and there is no sliding not voting no sliding so there are 3 and i think 4 hopefully as of today i said the chicks were the third team we are ready to play this sun. :) :) if you do voting people will get confused everyother game whether its allowed or not whether they forgot or not i talked to dave NO sliding lets play have fun looking foward to it

| I'm sorry, the meetings are for discusing/voting. You were at the meeting for 6 vs 6 and the women desided on no slide tackling, thats fine. The men did do their own thing. Maybe we'll have league rules for the 11 vs 11 writen down on this web site next season; so we don't have this confusion again.
It looks like the times for games for the women will be 5:00 and 6:45.

| Dave is waiting for 1 team for the women STILL. It is the cleats, I hope they get in otherwise I don't know if there will be any games on Sunday !

| nope lol wrong again its daves rule yes i was at the 6on6 meeting but both men and women agreed with dave when he said there is NO sliding you at your meeting and on the field keep voting on a non voting issue other leagues play 11v11 fifa rules but have no sliding what is the big deal here read your responses majority says they want to wake up the next day and walk and go to work so that means no sliding dude give it a rest ;)

| Tee, the majority of players your refering to are not the majority of the league. They were posting opinions on a discussion board. That's what the meetings are for, and as far as i know the 11v11 men's meeting agreed on going with the full rules, which meant slide tackling.
The boards are used to express opinions of rules and discuss related topics. If players object to a certain rule, then they need to express it at the meetings if they want something done.

| yes thats where bad communication came in it should of just been discussed at the meeting that there would be no sliding but dave wasnt there that how confusion came in i think it was always supposed to be no sliding but oh well

| I didn't know that rules for 6 vs 6 were going to be used. I took the 11 vs 11 soccer as how it always has been; with all FIFA rules. The league changes rules, best suiting the public involved within the league. This is how leagues always start, with a few issues that will be resolved during the season or in the next season.
I am on a soccer board and this is the same thing.
Ultimately, there are no league rules for 11 vs 11 soccer, so we start with FIFA rules and go from there.
Sorry to any of the Men that are playing 11 vs 11 and did not want slide tackling.
