| Unfortunately Dave is off this whole week, so if any questions, post them here; remember sports bulletin rules !
For the red cards, I have to make the decision on suspensions.
Warriors - 1 red card - player suspended for minimum of 2 games and player is on probation. Bad Karma - 1 red card - Player suspended for minimum of 2 games and player on probation. Ajax - 2 red cards - both players suspended for 1 game

| Bill,
Can you update us (Coldwell Banker) on the status of our player that received a red card on 8/5? Is a 2 game suspension or 1?

| Dave went with the code of conduct on that one, he still has to sit out 1 more game.

| I think that is a poor choice to enforce the max punishment on the 1st offense. It's not like he is a repeat offender. This and the entire circumstances leading up to the event should be taken into consideration.
He wasn't mad because the foul wasn't called. What caused the outburst was the fact that his safety was put in jeopardy and no action was taken from the officials. In that case I feel, though the choice of words may not have been approriate for everyone, I would expect nothing less than the anger he expressed.
You say that both officials had missed the call. That would be easy to believe if it weren't for them being the only ones who missed it, to include all the bystanders.
It is one thing for an official to miss a handball and expect the players to keep their cool and continue playing. But, when a foul as obvious as the one in question is missed and for a player's safety to be put at risk repeatedly during a game without any action, we got to draw a line somewhere.
Bottom line, the player apologized for his choice of words and we know he is not a repeat offender. I don't see why the punishment enforced had to be the maximum permitted.

| That is what was done and actually I responded to you before I saw that he apologized and that does help because I will talk to the other ref tomorrow night, 6 vs 6, about that.

| After reading the code of Conduct, it is pretty harsh on max penalty for #7.

| Hey bill,Lets see if I get this right.Using foul language after a foul that was not call and could have injured him permanently is worst than a player going after another players leg with no intention of getting the ball? You made the right call in issuing the red card. You stated you saw his intrentions in his face.Shuldnt player safty be first priority? So why does a foul like that only get a one game suspension but foul language gets two games.I cant speak for everyone but foul language doesnt hurt me or leave marks but players trying to hurt us does.Does foul language merit a straight card with no warning?Shouldnt it be a yellow first? The last couple of games have gotten out of control because of one ref refusing to make calls and if I get hurt because of it I will make sure he is held accountable for it.

| We did explain foul language to Ted and Adrian, if foul language towards a referee or player than it is a red card offense. Sometimes this is not heard by the referees. There are a few teams in 11 vs 11 and 6 vs 6 that have a reputation of players commiting hard fouls and we do need to crack down on those individuals and even worse, the teams that do that.
