| GAME ON! ! ! !
We play "Big Combo" (the Ballers / Cemex team) at 8:30am Sunday the 20th. This the 11 v 11 we have been waiting for.
Game times will be:
8:30am and 10:30am
Will play each team once and then tournament style last two weeks of the season for a total of five games.

| that would make 17, I would have to double check uni's, but do not see an issue as long as we have a uni. We'll just be sure to sub out to be sure all get good playing time.
I want to collect $10.00 from everyone to cover end of season get together (whether they plan to attend it or not) 10 bucks ! ! ! ! all monies go back to the team in form of food, drink or such.

| Maybe its just me, but doesnt it seem a little tedious to run with 6 subs for 5 games over a 5 week period? I could understand if it was 5 games over a weekend for a tournament or something. But waiting nearly a year for an 11v11 league and we get 5 games? There's not going to be much room for playtime with 5 games to begin with, and we want to add more players to the roster?
I dont mean to rant on, but this is not 6v6. You dont sub in and out as fast. I know hobbe's is injured and will only play 5-10 mins a game, but that leaves 5 subs, and all of us are more than capable of playing a full 11v11 game. Its good to have 1 or 2 subs in case someone doesnt show...but 6 subs?
Just had to vent my opinion on the subject. Take it as you will.

| I guess we'll see when Sunday comes. Let's not turn anyone away just yet until we can figure out who is going to show up.
I know one game last year we started with 8 players and eventually were up to 9 or 10, so we should do what we can to avoid this happening again.
The least we can do is wait until Sunday and see what kind of turn out we are going to get.
Oh, do we have a schedule yet? I need some time to arrange for some time off if necessary. I am guessing we probably won't be playing on Mother's Day, May 11th. Can anyone confirm that?

As far as adding another player, after hearing very good arguements from both sides (even to the point of changing my stance) I will put it to the team as whether to add another or not. I will say we have already told both Wayne and Raul that there was not room for their friends. It is not about who we add, but that adding another player will take playing time from the current members of the team.
Currently we have:
11 on field
16 total players
5 subs
If keeper plays full game, everyone else only gets half a game.
The more we add without loosing a player, the less time per player on the field. I know we all play to win, but more importantly we play to "play"
