Eva Dell #1 wasn't being used today.....guys said it had been vandalized. Does this change any of the schedules for the remainder of the week? Will changes be posted?

There are tons of people roaming around behind the outfield fences late at night who are not involved in softball and just camping out. I was in left field tonight and watched and heard a homeless guy teaching a German Shepard mix to bite and attack his arm like they do w/ police dogs.

Be careful when you go after that HR ball!!!!

It wasn't vandalism, it was just an improvement project that went longer than expected. We expect that things will be better than new by Wednesday. Sorry for the late notice, we found out about 4:30pm.

HOP- related post to dog situation.

Doesn't the city has an ordinance where dogs must be on a leash at a park? I don't know if that helps or not.

Too bad this isn't in AV- man, those animal control officers in Apple Valley are commando. They go door to door looking over fences, blowing dog whistles, even ringing doorbells to find unregistered dogs. SO if you have an unregistered dog that never leaves your yard or house, you get a fine, meanwhile there are dogs running wild a couple miles away at a public park.....

Yes there is a leash law. I would appriaciate if you email Mike Rothschild what you witnessed. I'm working with him to help make Victorville more proactive in enforcing this law. Here is his email address. Just mention you know me and are aware of the attack from last Thursday night.
Mrothschild@ci.victorville.ca.us

He one of the better city councilman in Victorville.
