| Well so far I hit it right on. Don't know the outcome of the bomb squad game but Cemex took care of No Mercy buy winning by 6 runs. Next week Cemex faces the bomb squad. Now that will be an interesting game. Once scores are posted new odds will be entered. Cemex now favored to win lower berth.

| Bomb Squad crushes Covaults RV 25-10. They now go on to face Cemex in round 2 of the Thursday middle playoffs. Bomb Squad will be facing their former pitcher for the first time since the huge mid season trade 4 weeks ago. Yes, ol Kenny Hop who pitched one game for Bomb Squad which was their only win in the regular season against the Cemex crew. The Bomb Squad is ready to see how they will fare with the bat against their former pitcher in the game of the season. It should be a sellout crowd.

| Driving by ED2 this morning I noticed a few cars pulling into the parking for early good spots, I guess for their tail gating party for tonights contest between Bomb Squad and Cemex. There has been some controversy on a possible protest of tonights game. After studying all rosters all players seem to be eligible for tonights playoff game. None of the players were found to comment on tonights game which begins at 8:16.

| What a game it was. Cemex was in total control through the entire game until the bottom of the 6th inning. Score at the time was 16-3. Cemex had 2 outs when the Cemex defense totally fell apart and allowed 10 unearned runs to score. Cemex had a slim 3 run lead going into the top of the 7th inning. Cemex came back with 5 runs of their own and shut down the defending champions with a goose egg in the bottom of the 7th to win their second playoff game 21-13. Congradulations and off we go the round 3 where Cemex faces Covaults RV in the final week.

| It appears that Cemex has clinched first place no matter how they fare with Covaults RV in the third round. If Cemex loses, that's if, there would be a 2 way tie in the win loss colume. But I do believe that if there is a tie it goes head to head and Cemex already beat No Mercy and Bombsquad. The winner of No Mercy and Bomb Squad would take second place. Anyway that is how they have done it in the past. I could be wrong and they could set up a tie breaker. Anyone know?

| I just went to the softball bylaws regarding ties. Cemex has clinched first place. I will paste the bylaw.
A. In the event of a tie, standings will be determined using the win/loss percentage method. All ties within the win/loss method will be decided by head-to-head competition (against each other) followed by runs against (RA) during head-to-head to determine final standings, then (RA) in the entire league.
Congradulations to the Cemex Squad for a great comeback.

| Wow..this is good news. I'm debating if I am going to extend my playing career next year. Will be 56 in March. Got a first place t-shirt for the spring and now it looks like another for the fall season. Maybe I should retire with back to back championships. Will Cemex renew my contract???? Does Bomb Squad want to bring me back??? Decisions, decisions, decisions. I will be back in Blue for the 2009 spring season doing 2-3 nights a week but need to know if I will be a starter for a team on Thursday night. I will keep it open for any takers. I am enjoying playing again and my bat has come back. Went 7 for 9 for the playoff season so far. I won't be asking as much as Manny is asking for though.

| All rhetoric aside, the facts are the Cemex took off when they picked up Hop from the scrap heap. His backwards baffling knuckleball was the final piece to the Cemex Championship (No matter what the Pedros say)
