Not to cause any trouble, but am I the only one that doesn't likes the new goals? I hope we can get the old ones back.

We all need to get used to these goals until we can transport the older goals to soccer fields.

About different goals, they are too expensive at this time.

1 more sunday with these goals for sure.

Only city officials can move these goals based on liability purposes !

If anyone has access to ground for both type of goals, let me know cas we need some !

People have been taking our stakes and hammers

Played with the new goals for the first time the other night. They actually werent too bad. The old ones are better, but these really werent as bad as i thought they would be. Plus the set up and take down on them is easy! No nets to deal with, no straps, no stakes.

Anyway, thats my 2 cents.

I agree that the new goals aren't asthetically pleasing, and some of that might be because they are different.

However, here are the advantages of the new goals:
1. They are easy to set up by one staff.
2. They can be locked inside the box (no more cutting through the chain to steal one for scrap value)
3. They are safer. If these fall, no one gets hurt.

Here's the problem with our other goals.
1. They are falling apart. The City has tried a couple of different fixes, but it hasn't been solved. Welding aluminium isn't easy or a normal process.
2. They require more staff time to set-up, take down and secure.
3. They tend to be dangerous on our high wind days.

Right now, the pros out-weigh the cons.

I agree, they move to much, the top part hungs down etc. I have talked to many people from diferent teams and the feeling is the same, no body seems to like them, please bring the old ones back, we (the players) don't like them.

I agree, one day we were playing and the stakes came out of the ground and the goal blew over.

Managers meeting quote, "this is your league(players) and we want you to enjoy it and have fun" well, the goals are not fun and we are not ejoying them, please listen to the players and bring the old goals back. Don't force them on us!

Xafa, you've ignored my issues above and you make it sound like I'm not listening even though I did respond. Play fair Xavier.

Wait a minute, first I'm not the only one complaining, second, all we are doing it's expresing our opinions, no need to get offended, that was not the intention of the comments, and for that I apoligize.

My point was that you didn't address my issues. You made your point and I responded, then you just made your point again, maybe I missed something.
