Welcome to the home of the Fury Academy 17u baseball team


The Fury 17u (2017) is a select/travel baseball team based out of the Fury Academy. Our players come from two states (Tennessee and Georgia) representing ten different schools. Our team is an official "huddle" of the Lookout Mountain Area chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

PLAYER'S MISSION STATEMENT
We are a team in every sense of the word. We will be there for one another. We understand that this great American game called baseball is just one part of our life, but an important part. Once we step between the lines, we have one goal and that is to leave it all on the field. Through hard work, sacrifice, practice, blood, sweat and tears we will gain the respect of all of those we compete against. Whether we win or lose, we will leave the field knowing we gave it our all. We will leave the field in the same manner we took it, as a team who played the game hard and with class.

COACH'S MISSION STATEMENT
We as coaches will work to provide a competitive, learning atmosphere for each young man who is dedicated to learning the TEAM concept. We will strive to teach fundamentals, skills and mental toughness in order to compete at a high level of play.

As a member of FCA Baseball, our goal is not only to field a very competitive team, but to help develop young men of high character both on the field and off. We will provide physical and spiritual training and if they will provide the desire and determination, we will create a team that is second to none.
