Brewers Defeat Bandits In Playoff Game, 11-0
The Brewers got a typically stellar pitching performance from Greg Bertrand, who went nine innings, yielding eight hits in shutting out a tough Bandit lineup. He was ably supported by Eric Cain's four RBIs on two doubles and two sac flies. Augie Alonso and Sam Kason also had two hits on the day. The Brewers defense turned in four double plays. The biggest battle was to keep nine guys on the field, after starting with only ten players and having Mark Behn and Jay Gould go down with leg injuries. Recover quickly guys...we have a Championship Game to play next week!
