Three Home Runs Propel South Park To Victory Over Pasquale's
South Park's bats were as hot as the July afternoon, scoring three runs in the first inning, five in the second and a three run third to tally their eleven runs. The first inning was highlighted by a Ben Nolan walk, Chad Jacob single and a Ryan Dodson three run homer. The second inning started in similar fashion with a Brady Benedetti single. He was bunted over to second by Tyler Amedure. Anthony Monaco drew a free pass and Ben Nolan ripped a three run shot over the left field fence to make it 6-0 South Park. After a flyout for the second out, Ryan Dodson singled and then Corey Reis homered deep into the parking lot to make it 8-0. In the third Benedetti reached on a fielder's choice and Amedure walked to bring Anthony Monaco to the plate. Monaco would double in both with a gap shot to right center to complete the South Park scoring. Nick Arnoni earned his fifth win of the season going three innings and allowing two hits to go with four strikeouts. Chad Jacob pitched the final two frames in relief. Matt Bradburn paced the Pasquale's offense, going 2-3 with a double. South Park moves to 15-3 on the season as they try to secure one of the two double-byes.
