GoodFella's Restaurant Earns First Victory
Goodfellas Restaurant and Tavern picked up their first victory of the 2016 season with a win over Pasquale's Pizzeria. Pasquale's started off the scoring in the top of the first when Johnny Rende scored on a throwing error on an attempted double play by Goodfellas. The home team answered in the bottom of the inning with two runs of their own. Goodfellas continued to tally runs, scoring two in the 2nd and three in the 4th. Leading the way on offense for Goodfellas was JJ Visco, going 3-3, reaching base 4 times and scoring twice. Tim Connelly also added two singles and three RBI. Pitchers Joe Bowen (W), Jimmy Arnold, Adam Ziemianski, and Josh Woolford combined to hold the Pasquale's offense to just one hit.
