Canonsburg Wins In A Big Upset Of South Park
Canonsburg shocked South Park 3-1 this evening at Clairton Park. Timmy Loper pitched seven innings, giving up one run on three hits and no walks as he retired the last thirteen batters of the game. Every fielder for the Knights made plays behind Loper. The biggest defensive play was turned in by Sean Gaughan, who saved a sure double with a great catch in center. Nick Bartus tied the game with a double in the second and made great plays at third base. Tyler Day scored winning run on wild pitch scoring in the third inning.
