Yanks win

Yankee bats come out swinging with 24 hits including a home run by Jason Simanson and another by George Rodarte* or was it a double?
Only the left fielder really knows.6 Yankee players manage to get 3 hits each. Cardinal ace had many hitters off balance with his knunckler but some lapses on defense didn't help out a struggling but very classy Cardinals team. The wind was also a factor as both team's infielders were having trouble.
