Garden City Little League Baseball Age Groups and Schedule:
GCAA Little League Baseball Spring Age Divisions are as follows. For full GCAA Baseball Overview, please select the League Description Link under the “PAGES” Menu on the Site.
Rookie League – Pre-K – Teams will play once per week (Saturday Mornings at 9:00 or 10:30)
Atlantic League – Kindergarten - Teams will play once per week (Saturday Mornings at 9:00, 10:30 or 11:00)
Texas League - 1st Grade – Teams will play twice per week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 6PM and on Saturday Morning at 9:00, 10:30 or 12PM)
Pacific League – 2nd Grade - Teams will play twice per week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 6PM and on Saturdays at 9AM or 3:30PM)
Minor League – 3rd Grade - Teams will play twice per week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 6PM and on Saturdays at 9AM or 3:30PM)
Central League – 4th Grade - Teams will play twice per week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 6PM and on Saturday - Morning or Afternoon)
Major League – 5th and 6th Grade - Teams will play twice per week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 6PM and on Saturday - Morning or Afternoon)

As of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard was implemented. USABat Standard bats must be used in Little League Baseball:
Summer Baseball Camps
Max Effort Baseball will be running a Summer Baseball and Softball Camp at Stewart Field this Summer. This program is NOT affiliated with GCAA Baseball, but we are sharing this information with the Garden City Baseball Community. The camps are run by outside organizations with outside instructors. Please visit the website below for information and dates for the camp. If there are any questions, please contact the organization directly since GCAA does not sponsor or participate in these camps in any way.

Garden City Little League (GCAA) is governed by Little League International (LLI). Little League Baseball and Softball is played in approximately 6,500 communities across more than 80 countries around the world, but regardless of where they are played, each of them share the same core mission. Little League believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. At the end of each Spring, the Garden City Little League participates in the Williamsport Little League World Series Tournament. Teams are formed for the 10U (4th Grade), 11U (5th Grade) and 12U (6th Grade) Divisions.

Batting Cage Rules & Guidelines
· Use of batting cage is on a first come, first serve basis. If people are waiting to use the cage, use is limited to 30 minutes (unless a team is using this for a practice).
· During scheduled games with a field permit, the batting cage is reserved for the playing teams
· All batters must wear a helmet
· All pitchers must use the protective pitching screen during batting practice. This screen is not to be removed to be used on the baseball fields
· All users of the batting cage understand they use the facility at their own risk
· No food or drink permitted in the batting cage or on the turf
