Gresham GO-FOR Wrestling provides skilled wrestling instruction for kids.  

We welcome kids of all skill levels (Ages 5-14).  We will work with each individual to teach proper technique, sportsmanship and self-discipline through the sport of wrestling.  We stress safety, respect and having fun.

Requirements for Participation: 

* Age 5-14 (parent involvement is required for kids ages 5 and 6)

* Complete registration form and waiver form (located under the "Online Forms" section).

* Registration fee $125 + USA Wrestling Card ($65)- due by 1st practice. 

(Registration fee does not include USA Wrestling Card.  This is an additional fee.  Cards must be purchased separately at www.themat.com or we can purchase on your behalf.  (If you would like us to get your USA Card - go to forms tab online and complete the USA Wrestling Card form.)  Payment for registration and the USA card can be made through the Paypal link under the "About - Link" section.  No wrestler; including practice will be allowed to participate without a USA Wrestling Card.  Print a copy of the USA Wrestling Card for you and provide a copy to coach.  You can provide coach with a printed copy or e-mail a pdf to greshamgoforwrestling.com.  

Practice Schedule:

November 7, 2023 to Mid February 2024. 

Tuesdays & Wednesdays - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Practices will be held at Gresham High School in the Mat Room.

(Practices are subject to change due to weather, school closures, etc.)

Tournament Schedule:

Tournaments will be held throughout the season on Saturdays.

Tournaments are available to those who wish to compete.  

USA Wrestling cards are required to participate in club and tournaments.

Transportation to and from tournaments is the responsibility of each individual wrestler/parent.

Other:

Kids can wear shorts, T-Shirt and tennis shoes (wrestling shoes if you have them, but not required) to practice.

We welcome parents to stay and watch practices. Please be mindful of others and the wrestlers if you have other children who are not participating in wrestling to take them out of the wrestling room if they have too much energy.  Thank you.
